As one comment somewhere said "i have 'voice communication is not available for this account' and i must scream". Sad to see that f2p expirience made somewhat worse by this pretty useless 'anti-bot' measure. Hope valve will reverse this since bots are pretty much gone now, and it wasn't so effective to begin with.

tf2 is a magical game where you can spend hours playing and not even know it
when i first started playing, i was NOT good at shooters
it took me at least a week to get my first kill in general
i will say, to anyone who reads this, a disguise as spy can get even the most seasoned players. all you have to do is either go when its chaotic or learn how you should act as a certain class (also, NEVER GO SCOUT AS A DISGUISE. itll give you away as soon as someone looks at you since you go slower than scout should)
ye, also always be disguised but be ready to change if someone sees you. spy is the most unique class and the most difficult imo.
Never disguise as scout is terrible advice. Scouts retreating from a fight is super believable and as long as you aren't in their line of sight for long enough to notice the speed difference it works totally fine.

i say that because 9/10 if you are running towards the enemy disguised as scout, they WILL check you
if anything, what you said is bad advice
hell, you "retreat" into the enemy and they will always spy check you
ive never once seen someone NOT spy-check someone coming at them
its always best to sneak behind if possible and disguise as someone who makes sense in the moment, like pyro or demo usually, and go from there
the ONLY time id say to visibly go towards someone as spy is if you have the dead ringer
my most played class is spy, and im only trying to help people who want to get into spy
