I will admit I am not a fan of standard doctor pepper, I do like their variants better, doctor pepper and cream, dark berry, strawberries and cream I enjoy all of them more than standard doctor pepper honestly. I'm a Dr. Pepper fan for sure, it's my favorite soda brand, so I had to try this one. It actually tastes like genuine strawberries, instead of artificial strawberry flavoring, which is nice. I don't like it as much as I thought I would, but it isn't terrible. I still prefer the Cream Soda flavor better, since my favorite soda flavor is Vanilla Pepsi, which is getting hard to find. Wish I hadn't bought a 12-pack lol.
I remember just a few years ago being angry when 12 cans of soda pack were more than $3! LOL It is getting out of hand! I think I would prefer cherry (not a big strawberry fan tbh) with Dr. Pepper if I am adding flavors but I am a cherry fan and a Dr. Pepper fan.

Lol I think, like me, it's ok to be concerned at the priceb increases this past year. Lol items double and triple inv price and people making the same money? It's a major issue that is being felt everywhere, and being reported by everyone. I'm happy if you are ok with it all but most people can't afford these increases. Just sayin

Saw bottles at walmart the other day, and I had to get some. To me and my mother (she's a huge Dr. Pepper person, so I had to get her one), it tasted like strawberry milk. My wife, on the other hand, thought it tasted like strawberry oatmeal.
Wonder if the plastic bottle version of this tastes better which was the case for Dreamland Coca-Cola which was atrocious in a can and delicious in its 16 oz. bottle.
After seeing this review, I bought a 12 pk to try. It's a strange combination of flavors. Though good, I probably won't buy it on a regular basis. I did like it better VERY cold after pouring it in a large mug and chilling it in the freezer until it was slightly slushy. (Rmbr IF YOU ARE PUTTING IT IN A FREEZER, POUR IT INTO A LARGE CONTAINER--when freezing it will expand and can BURST the can!!0

The price might seem steep, but if you do your math it’s approximately 75 cents a can. You go to a restaurant or fast food place and they can charge upwards of $3 and it’s nearly equivalent amount of soda with all the ice they give you. Hint: Ask for no ice and get your money’s worth!
What I would do is get the drink and ask for a glass of ice. I love icy drinks (controversy!!!), and I actually get mad when I get a drink with 2 cubes in it. I would rather drink it cold and then ask for refill. I always prefer tap or bottle to can anyday!

But as for the price you guys are so lucky, those cans of Dr. Pepper go for around ₹150 (Rupees) a piece over here 🇮🇳 and after conversion we're looking at around $22 (USD) for a 12 pack #ShitsWayTooExpensiveHere 😔

The problem with Culver’s delicious root beer (that I love) is the preservatives. It gives me aura migraines. Love the Culver’s root beer taste, the best. And root beer is a go to, if I drink pop ever, as I try not to do caffeine. But, I can’t drink it, scary.
I've tried this soda and I liked it I brought a few cans to work for my co-workers and my manager tried it and she liked it so much she wanted me to buy some more. My son tried it also with vanilla icecream and he said it taste like a strawberry smoothie.

I think it is so good! I do not enjoy Dr. Pepper. However, this was so good to me, I had to look at a review lol. The aftertaste is what I LOVE about this soda! The first stage is Dr. Pepper, then cream, then ghe aftertaste is definitely strawberries and cream. I do like, and see what you said, and it is definitely not perfect, but I am happy with it so far! I'm also subscribed 😊

I’m having my first can right now and I’m very disappointed it tastes nothing like a Dr Pepper but more of vanilla soda with cotton candy. The best thing about the other dr peppers is the distinctive cola like flavor with a hint of something else but the strawberry/candy taste drowns out everything and especially that hint of a cola flavor by far the weakest flavor I’ve had of the 4 I’ve tried from the brand. Fav : Dark Berry 2nd : original 3: vanilla & cream soda 4 : strawberry & Cream soda

Nope.. I'm stating that a 12 pack for sooo long was $5ish and you could get a sale 3 for $9. ($3.33 each) Soooooo, my distain is the fact it is almost doubled the price from a year or 2 ago. And almost TRIPLE the sale price ;)
It’s really trash. Not good at all. Great point on the string displeasing aftertaste. Save your loans and money. I wanted it to be good but it really disappoints. It’s not as good as the OG Dr. Pepper and Dr. Pepper/Cream Soda. I have yet to try Dr. Pepper Cherry.

I tried this and you were not kidding with that smell as you as you open it. I liked it, but it really didn’t taste like a Dr pepper product to me.

Most strawberry sodas don’t work. Fanta strawberry and peach are good from those freestyle machines in BK, and Moe’s.
