Awww Rachel i was almost in tears hearing about Lulu and her blueberries, sometimes its the simplest of things that open the flood gates, but usually after a good cry one normally feels better. Sending big hugs ❤❤

My heart goes out to you in having to help your daughter leave the only safe nest she's ever known! My last two went to college at the same time. I cried for a week! It all worked out and they are great adults and parents. 💞 It all takes time. 🙏. TFS🤗

Thank you for the extra video, I needed that. I totally understand sweet Lulu. My daughter went to school 5 hours north of us, no train, we had to drive. She didn’t do well away from home and she kept getting really sick. Half way through her second year she got Mono and almost died, I kept driving up there to take care of her or pick her up to come home. She had completed her associates degree, in an accelerated program and wanted to change her major to be a Graphic Artist instead of a business degree. She was miserable there and hated her roommates. We moved her back home to complete her degree at a local college. Some people just don’t thrive away from their family and friends and the comfort of the things that bring them happiness and success. Lulu might be one of those people. I will pray she adjusts but don’t be too hard on her if she can’t. Send her love and hugs! 🤗💕🙏🏻🤞🏻

Love the tags. Love the lock with the red flowers. Purple flowers hang down, I think. Love that tag, as well. You make it look all so easy! Lulu is growing up so quickly! I hope nothing gets stolen while traveling, she might be a good mark for those crafty thieves. Crimes of opportunity, unfortunately! Glad she caught her shoes. Poor blueberries😢 didn't quite make it. She was looking forward to eating those, from Mom.

My heart goes out to you. It is so hard to see our kids go thru the growing up pains. We always want to make things better, because we are Mom, but in the long run it will be if it her to do as much on her own as possible. My kids are all grown with their own families and doing well. It will get better, and you are always there when the going gets too tough for her. Prayers for you all. These will be lovely tags to be sure.🥰

This was fun, I just finished a journal and needed a little inspiration for another project. I can totally empathize with Lulu. To this day, I always have a little feeling of dread on Sunday afternoons. Leaving to go back to school always hung over my head all weekend. Even after I was married and moved to another city, visiting my parents was always bitter sweet. But, as with all things, “this too shall pass”. Wishing Lulu all the best! It’s probably harder for us Moms than it is for our children.❤

I love hearing your stories about Lulu. My daughter left at 18 to go live in the city 3 hours drive from where I live and we went through the same process. I laughed about how she brought her washing home and how you did it and how she has a washing machine but no washing powder!
Poor Lulu, Oh thinks will get better, but its so hard to see our children hurting. I have been through that with my son and it does get better. Stay strong. Blessings on you and have a Blessed Thanksgiving .

Here in the UK first years at university usually are living in college with loads of other students, it must be so much harder being in a flat not on campus. M sure Lulu will make a success of her first year and settle into a rhythm soon.

Hello Rachel, it's not necessary on my part to make a video every day, life gets busy and it's fine with me. I'm happy that Lulu came for the weekend, it's difficult to be on your own at a young age, it happened with my sister's youngest daughter, after a year everything was okay with being away from home. I forgot to thank Stephan for the beautiful journals also, thank you Stephan. I love today's project, quick and easy, that's for sharing, big hugs Rachel and for going above and beyond for us.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😘

These are cute, always love the birds! TFS. That feeling of wanting to make it okay never ends Rachel, my daughter is over 50 and when and if she shared something that wasn’t making her happy, I wanted to make it okay for her. It still breaks my heart if it’s breaking her heart, I think it comes with being a mother. She is a strong, independent woman with two amazing children (young adults actually) and has a good job and a good life. She sometimes turns the tables on me and takes the role of advisor and caretaker which isn’t always willingly accepted on my part lol. Lulu will be okay and she knows you and Steph are there for her. Sometimes you just need a good cry. It’s early days still😀

Loved this video. 🎉Lulu will be fine and you will get used to it because you know she'll be coming home often. It's when they get married and the husband decides to emigrate😢 that's the worst. They take your grandchildren with them and for me was so bad because we're in South Africa and they're in New Zealand. 18-22 hours of flying away from you and with our money exchange It's virtually impossible to go and see them. I cried for 2 weeks 😢😢

Oh poor Lulu! I so understand what you’re all experiencing. Trust me it gets better for all, well never did for my hubby who cried every time she left for 4 yrs on. But she will get over it and be so strong very soon. The first semester is the hardest. ❤❤❤🥹
