- In this video I explain how Ugandans feel about different people from different countries who currently reside in Uganda.
These are my personal views and observations.
#uganda #kenya #tanzania #somalia #burundi #rwanda #southsudan #eritrea #ethiopia
almost every tribe in kenya has a counterpart or sister/brother in UG. Very true. i always say to people, a ugandan is not a foreigner to me, we share blood literally.
I like how cool you are. Much lov🇰🇪
Interesting thoughts and perceptions 😆
Another enjoyable video
As usual long time but we wait for u
Nice makeup
Thank you for watching
Most tribes in Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, DRC, South Sudan and TZ have ancestral lineages across boarders.
So what happen to the Cushites in all of those countries?? Did they all just magically disappear ?? 😂😂
Brother you have to understand that the Cushites and hunter gatherers were indigenous to the Great Lakes region, they were living here for thousands of years before Bantu arrival. But most of them now are assimilated to Bantus and Nilotic tribes, now everyone forgets about Cushites and they think we are foreigners.
The Tutsis in Rwanda and Burundi, the Bahima, Bahororo, Basongora, Ateker in Uganda all originally came from Ethiopia. In Kenya the Borana, Gabra, Sakuye, Rendille, dassanch, orma clans are all Oromos from Southern Ethiopia. The Maasai and Kalenjin assimilated many Cushites, they originally came from Ethiopia. Even some Kikuyus, Kambas and Taitas have Cushitic and Maasai ancestry due to assimilation. And there’s many more.
Once upon a time Kenya 🇰🇪 and Uganda 🇺🇬 were kept together by British as one country called British East Africa protectorate,, it was fun listening to you
actually kenya owes its existence to kenya uganda railway in 1898. kenya was a protectorace until 1920, when it became a crown colony.
They are both artificial countries created after colonial periods..
New here and subscribed. I enjoy your videos. ...and yes I knew there was something Rwandese about you. God bless.
Thank you for subscribing
Nice vibes
1. Somalia communities living in Uganda are mostly stereotyped. Not only they not close to fellow African citizens, but also they are arrogant and incompatible. They categorize themselves as none Africans or others. Especially if you are not a Muslim, they consider you as subhuman.
2. Eritreans do not have much difficulty in living together with other Africans. But they have a clear superiority complex, contempt and racist character
3. It is completely unthinkable to distinguish Ethiopians from Eritreans by their appearance. But they are completely different in character. Ethiopians are very respectful and kind people who are very proud of their African identity, but most of the time they marry each other.
4. Rwandans are mostly humble and wise people, they don't like things in a hurry, they have the ability to observe their environment well, they are blessed with the ability to live with anyone wisely, beautiful Africans. But Rwandans want to know everything about you, so they always ask you a lot of questions.
5. Ugandans are the most hospitable and gentle people with unique ability to find amusement in everyday situations They have a good habit of getting along with anyone quickly. but If you don't have a useful idea or good money to spend, Ugandans won't have a second to sacrifice for you. You will get what you want when you approach Ugandans in a flexible manner without fearing them at any level.
I don't have much knowledge about the rest of the East African countries, so it's hard for me to comment at the moment.thanks 🙏🏼
I personally find it hard to differentiate Ethiopians from Eritreans. What you said about Ugandans is spot on
I wonder why somalis are everywhere, yet they don't like associating with others
Its the Quran that tells them if your not Muslim your unclean and their Allah hates nonmuslim and has commanded them not to integrate with nonmuslims.... That BOOK IS NOTHING BUT SATANIC
@@RECOLONIZE_RIGHT In a mosque everyone is a moslim
@@RECOLONIZE_RIGHT Don't display your ignorance to others to know you. Stupidity will finish you my friend
As Somalia I don't believe what are you talking about somali people are friendly people, I have more African frieinds, I feel every black person is my brother or sister
@@star1star815you have more Africans friends 😂😂 ain't you guys Africans? You feel every black is your friend, ain't you black? 😂😂😂 Some of you are black more than normal black people
Everything that you said is very true sisty
Uganda and Kenya are like Identical twins, Many tribal similarities.
That's why Ugandans don't see the difference
As a Tanzanian studied in uganda for 15 years with kenyans and rwandaness and sudanese ..the countries are similar but different ..in order to under the east african countries you need to travel
Continue enjoying your stay,,,I like your content and Accent,,,I love Ugandan Accent
👍🏾
It did not rain😅😅
magic is entertainment, using slight of hand, you were talking about witchcraft Burundian did
Here’s the thing a lot of Somalis and Ethiopians are racists against people who look stereotypical subsaharan African. They even have racial slurs to describe them Ethiopians: use shinokila and bruyia. And Somalis use the word jeerer and adomen. Even Halie Saliasee the last emperor of Ethiopia claimed to be mixed and none African all this have roots in the slave trade. I learned this form those people while I lived in the Middle East!
I've heard about Jareer but I've never heard about shinokila. That's actually disturbing🥹
It is true in Ethiopia
During the time of princes, i.e. 100 years ago, the dark skinned people of Kush, Omotic and Nilo Sahara were discriminated. History mentions that the kings were engaged in the slave trade as well. Like any other African country, there were similar historical grievances in Ethiopia, but in this 21st century, the rights of all nations and nationalities have been respected and protected by the constitution, and citizens are being led in peace and in a federal system. Therefore, what you mentioned in your comment is incorrect and old history, so I humbly ask you to correct your position with further research and study. th-cam.com/video/06cOG2xUtEM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KDLyN26RWWL7dHjl
@@lanteTV1 This is infuriating considering Sub Saharans, Caribbeans and AAs faught for the freedom of Ethiopia during the time of Haile Selassie
@@lanteTV1 Well I can only say this that discrimination still exists especially when you go to the Middle East or North Africa them folks be quick to say they don’t identify as African but as mixed race. I heard them talking about how they don’t like those people and how they look down upon them. And they’re quick to say Ethiopians and Somalis were never sold as slaves the people that were traded were Africans. I’m not some Pan African scholar but I can tell you this I only met 3 people from Ethiopia who did not fit the description of being horn of African people. When I asked them what ethnic group they were from they became extremely defensive stating I’m Ethiopian why ask my tribe! Sometimes horn of African people confuse me for being from the horn or North Africa because of features but I’m actually Louisiana Creole.
Kenyans are kenyans now do we go Haiti or not?
Nahh😂
aiya kenyans are everywhere
Today the sound hasn’t been good maybe the speaker has an issue
On my side the sound is good
You have lied about somalia really
i am a Kenyan but i wonder how comes i understand some tribes from Uganda when they speak.
Because every tribe in Uganda has a sister tribe in Kenya
Do you Ugandans love Kenyans the same way Kenyans love them?
They do
why not I love Kenyans more than Ugandans majority of my friends are Kenyans
As always you're spot on. Next time include whites and west africans. 😀
The video was made for only east Africans I'll talk about others next time.
Hello Hadiijjah the beutiful ugandan babygirl ❤You have the wrong picture in your observation about immigrants living in your country, first of all, not only Somalis, it applies to all immigrants, trend to live close each other creat little somalia communities, but I am from Eritrea, but I have friends from Somalia, they are Muslims, but I am not, we have very good friendship Somali people, they are people-friendly and welcoming, as most Afrcans thank you , have a good day;🌹
Because you look like them
South Sudanese don't bargain coz they're rich...
We don't because;
1. We see no reason why someone would lie or rather give an exaggerated price. Misplaced trust.
2. Its a taboo to be seen bargaining especially in the case of a female seller and a male buyer.
3. We have seen n experienced worst than a mere exaggerated vanities like money.
4. Bargaining to us literally exposed your private financial status. Poverty exposure to us invites disrespect na madharau.
This is deep

I loved this content. keep going, we are positive and watching. our stories must be told if we are roar fiercer.
Stereotyping does not help anyone
Me too I don’t believe Rwandese being magicians
Sister I am from Eritrea and I know there are many Eritreans seeking refuge in Kampala right now. We appreciate the kindness and hospitality of the Ugandan people.
However I must say when I first saw you I thought you could easily pass for an Eritrean or Ethiopian! You have our features with slim nose and jaw with tall stature and brown skin. But this is no surprise since there are some tribes in Uganda who possibly have Cushitic ancestry from Ethiopia thousands of years ago, then came to Uganda and assimilated into the Bantu and Nilotic tribes. I’ve seen Bahima (Ankole), Bahororo, Basongora, Tutsis, etc and they all could pass for the Horn Africans. Even the Ateker groups like Karamajong and Iteso came from Ethiopia.
You're right, Uganda has so many tribes and everyone is mixed with something. I'm a Muganda(Bantu)
@@hadijjahnanfukawow I would’ve never guessed that. You look like a Bayankole lady to me. That’s most likely because of the Buganda assimilating the indigenous pastoralists and hunter gatherers (Twa) into their culture. Do people ever think you’re from Ethiopia/Eritrea? I know there are some of them in Kampala. Do they ever confuse you as their own?
@@hadijjahnanfukais your mother from Rwanda?
I'll never forget my first time in Kampala. The shapely ladies are everywhere. Butako was everywhere.
While others are seeing business opportunities you are seeing Butako....poverty is really our own creation
my dude😂......chill out man
In Nyanza and western those are normal why is it a big thing
Ah you said Somalis are dirty girl that is offensive we really disappointed in you saying that and for you info that part you have mentioned there are many communities not only Somalis
I said it's just a stereotype.
You didn't hear her well, she said it's a stereotype,
You lied about Rwandese, most of them blend in with Ugandans
They are part of us but in schools they always from groups of just Rwandese.
True
It's a perception. In Zambia, they try to blend in to 'hide' but not to integrate.
@@hadijjahnanfuka I agree. In my kenyan university days most foreigners usually hanged out together with their country mates and i think it's just normal because of cultural familiarity and not based on prejudice to others.
On the other hand, working foreigners e.g. Expats will have to blend because they are much more involved with the foreign countrys' system than the students.
stop lying please. @@hadijjahnanfuka And your most likely to have rwandese blood in you if lam not mistaken. You say rwandese and how they have done intermarriage in uganda please stop.😊
