@@Bill-mw7shi have about 30 bark rivers and three lt wright. I prefer bark river because of convex grind. But LT wright and Battle horse knives have twice the quality control compared to bark river. They are perfection, my bark rivers are filled with flaws....apparently they have been working on fixing QC problems. Im guessing you don't own an lt wright knife if your posting this lol
I just got mine in the mailbox and unfortunately it is quite thinner than it was announced on the European websites. How do you think it will stand up for batoning? 3mm blade thickness seems a bit too thin for me 😬 Maybe if their MagnaCut heat treat is done perfectly, it should be no? problem.
Hi. For me fire steels come in different sizes, they may not all fit. Also I get some sand paper or something to remove the black coating on a fire steel before I use it. Personal preference. Great content. Thx
If it had a bit thinner blade stock and a proper lower scandi edge bevel, that I could give it less convexing, then it would be a good knife! That's a shame, because the handle seems spot on design wise, ergos thickness etc.
I didn't even try until after the video was recorded. You are absolutely right it was really really hard to get in there. Took a very long time and it's not the safest thing in the world to work with something like that. Should have been a size larger. Thanks for pointing this out and it'll definitely be in the review when I talk about it. But no it wasn't on purpose it was just that I didn't try until after I stopped recording.
@@sharpends4279 I'm glad you had this experience too. I hope you were uninjured🙈. I managed it today uninjured. I'm going to let the knife rest for 1-2 days with the 'Obenaufs'. I really hope that no beginner injures themselves. The knife itself makes an excellent impression when you first touch it. 👌 stay healthy👌
LT Wright. Higher quality and a sheath that is perfect.

I have had one for 2 weeks and it’s a fantastic knife. Super comfortable and nimble for its size.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts eh !!

I don’t have any yet but man if I ever get rich enough to get one I’m definitely going to lol.

I think the handle is uncomfortable. Too thin in the front.
Show them how to put the knife in the sheath. It'll be damn funny to watch. I think you know and didn't show it on purpose.
