I can understand your peeves, I don’t have a channel, I don’t have to patience for people in general. My peeve for your channel is, you ask for input and information from viewers and use that information, without recognition of the input by your viewers. A simple like of the comment would be enough. That being said it could easily be a TH-cam problem and nothing to do with you. Keep up the good work I enjoy your content.

I purchased the leather sheath from White River Knives when I purchased the backpacker pro. It's a draw queen at the moment. I like the knife. The leather sheath is friction fit only.

Nice, I was thinking about getting one of these clips for my backpacker pro as well. The plastic clip I'm using is bulky and interferes with drawing the knife.

Any recommended production knife in 14c28n that has HRC of 62 or higher? Most are soft and don’t go higher than 60 HRC.

Hi, you might want to fact check me but AEB-L is a stainless, LT uses it mostly on his kitchen knives where 80crv2 is a high carbon steel thats prone to rust faster if you don’t take care of it. See ya

Have u checked out the protech oligarch, Dimitri Sinkovich designe came out in 2024, also the have a chaves knives colab coming in 2025. They have an Italian stelleto called the Don , the just did a FB drop on, more to come later in2025.

That is a beauty. Our boy does have a type though, there is a similar bloodline to the fixies that you get the most excited about no matter the manufacturer. I'm guessing you could buy the wife a dozen different wigs and have a harem for the rest of your life (speaking from experience). The colors may change but the underlying obsession is the same. LT Wright makes a quality product, if their scales were removable instead of pinned I'd have one of each model.

I believe that’s 01 steel. No big deal. Lt does use A2 steel and AEB-L and a couple other steels from time to time. Nice fixed blade. I Love LTWright knives. Save your money foe the Xmas Vault customs. See ya

I have one in CPM 3V with a high saber grind. Interestingly, mine doesn't have the large space between the end of the blade edge and the handle.

14c28n is a steel I have not used (I am not an avid knife collector but I have a few), but it is in the AEB-L family (This includes 14c28n and Nitro-V) and I really like that family. I like AEB-L because it is a very tough steel even at a high HRC (I consider 60HRC to be the minimum for AEB-L), and it is very stable (this is a bit complicated, but the TLDR is that it is tough and works great with fine geometry). My favorite, and only custom, knife is made of AEB-L and the knife maker is very good.

Are you using the stones included with the kme?

I could not get the male end of the thumbstud off. It seems like there’s a lot of loctite and/or it’s pressed into the blade. Is there any hope of getting the stud off without destroying it?

Mick Stryder is a scumbag of the highest order and i wont buy anything with his name one it. Protechs versions are definitely good knives though. Youre probably less likely to have issues with one than an actual Stryder. Anyway, Protech is a great company and I'm glad they are parting ways with Stryder.

I'm worried. I ordered the Saber grind version from Boker on November 30th. They took my money and it's not in stock. I have emailed Boker three different times and I get the same response. The lady keeps saying she does not know when it will be in stock. So I'm out 170 bucks. Update, I just checked and the website says available soon. I hope so, crossing fingers. I'm worried my order will get lost and I will be out the money.

I first learned about his knives in late 2023, and since then, I believe I have purchased four or five of them. Excellent quality at a fantastic price. He seems like a fine young man trying to raise his family the American way regardless of the hurdles. Looking forward to him getting settled into his new location and ramping up production. The knife community should rally around and support him.
