    Your videos are so uplifting and healing to us black girls. I LOVED doing clay masks especially during my wash n go season. Clay masks are just God's gift to us all. Well, at least one of the beautiful gifts haha. And watching you handle and care for your daughters hair make me melt. Well done.

      I have used bentonite clay and rhassul clay in the past it's been over a decade since I've used it. I was just thinking last week when I did my hair that I need to do a clay wash. You have convinced me to do one on my next wash day.

    First time I did clay mask my hair felt so refreshed and light. I started to do clay masks with prickly pear leaf juice (it grows wild around here) to help with moisture and easy flow of application. Then deep conditioner with added vinegar. However I recently switched to using just ayurvedic cleanaing herbs instead of clay and I really love it. I might start using clay again though once a while...

      I’ve been using aloe vera most of the time and every few weeks I would use ACV or rice water. I have never tried to clay, though I’ve been meaning to for years.

      Try using a cream...like a butter cream or styling cream then little oil to seal.

    Sounds to me like you can get many of the same benefits that you get from Bentonite clay just by using ACV. Especially if you just mix aloe vera with ACV. That said, I would love to try bentonite clay with these ingredients anyway. Just for fun.

      If your scalp is not very sensitive, try Bentonite Clay. If it is sensitive use Kaolin Clay

      @@Evangelist_EstherEyituoyo My advice; No... don't do both in the same routine. You can do the protein treatment first, and after another 2 wash sessions, do the Clay mask.
