i actually think magnus isnt a broken hero before the nerfed, its just because collapse using it very well (imo)
Isn't broken? The horn toss skewer didnt even gave players room to counter react. The moment you got horn tossed, you're done.
Why did you think they changed Horn toss to a 100% slow, that's to give players room to counter the combo
Only Arise could make this hero really work without horn toss back then. Collapse's positioning was godlike indeed, but horn toss made things way easier.
Horn toss cast time was waaay to fast even before the collapse incident. I once watched mason screaming at his tide for not ravaging in time but the cast time is just too quick

Are you even following the matches, even analyst and some pro player mention that horn toss aoe too big, cast time is fast and cd is low before international 10. Magnus has the same level of broken to tiny in that patch.

That force staff click is actually for dark willow but tiny blink in in the click are thats why the force staff goes to tiny rather than dw

магнус всегда был средним героем. На нём нужно прям гением быть чтобы так играть, либо задрачивать десятки часов. Людям это не нужно потому что ты можешь просто пикать обоссаного клинкза или зевса и поднимать ммр

Kuku use magnus and comeback from lower bracket, collapse did use magnus incredibly well but magnus is definitely busted before collapse is using it, you can see alot of pub players are using magnus especially china, the popularity increase so much when horn toss is introduce.

Exactly! Horn Toss was so damn eady to land, didnt even need to target it. You just blindly pull off Blink Horntoss Skewer back and it was 100% guaranteed to land.
Arise did it better without horn toss and buff to first skill. Props to Collapse though, he plays a good Magnus.

... guys, lets not pretend like Horn Toss was a hard to utilize ability :) it was literally the most OP shit ever. You could do the combo just automatically, Blink Horntoss Skewer back. You hit 100%. No offense but 4k plebs pulled off thr same shit, it was the Supports who nerfed it. The Visiongame was insane, and without it, those Pickoffs never would have happend.
Not to take away something from TI Winners, but im kinda tired of people acting like that shit was hard to pull off.
Collapse is good but overrated.... Nobody even remember game 5 where TT was killing the backlines only for magnus to dominatem... Collapse is best pos3 but still is very overrated..
