    The thing I like about Carlos is mental fortitude. I feel like current gen players are mentally unstable, especially when playing Djokovic. Seems like the bend to him. Carlos always has that winner mentality even when he looks down and out.

      A lot the younger players are too much of primadonnas for me, and lack that mental fortitude. Alcaraz is a breath of fresh air.

      Playing Tommy Paul was a warm up. I am happy that he got beat by Paul to show everyone that he is human and he doesn't have to win every single tournament...
      Now, he is ready for Cincinnati which is a bit more high profile than Canada...
      Tommy Paul could never beat Carlos in best of five....

    • @marko3281
      @marko3281 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@naomihayden5749 Cincinnati is not higher profile tournament than Toronto. They are both Masters 1000. And by the way Sinner won title. So obviosly some players are coming. Remember horror which Alcaraz survived against him at US Open. Also he lost to him in Miami this year and Wimbledon last year.

    To say Novak sacrificed his flair for efficiency is utter nonsense. The man has been involved in most of the greatest matches of the last two decades, some of which are among the greatest matches of all time. He has came out the victor in most of these. His efficiency is undeniable and can get him through most matches, but in the golden era, the finals he won against the other greats of our time, his flair was laid bare for us all to marvel at. Don’t fall victim to this ridiculous narrative that Djokovic won because he defended the best and was passive against the very best. The truth is the complete opposite, he wouldn’t have reached the summit of the sport otherwise…

    His chemical muscles don't impress me at all . M. and Dj . break's his unbeatable aura . Now many will attack him without fear . He is not Nadal , he is similar to Djokovic when he was 20 . Look Novak first semifinal against Federer 2008. on AO .
