Wow... the dealership wanted me to pay them 140 dollars so they can run tests on my 2010 camry to see why its on... i did this and it went away. Thank you man
Sometimes. For rebuilding the engine you'll still want to consult the service manual that can be found on Russian file sharing sites, or so I've heard, all 3000 pages of it...
Superb. You put me on the right path. What I was not doing correctly was, that I was turning on the ignition, and then pressed the RESET button. That's wrong. After putting the Odometer in TRIP A mode, you have switch off the ignition, then already have the RESET button pressed, and then turn on the ignition to ACC mode. Thank you for the video.
I'm not too sure, but you could try for keyless I assume the KEY ON is pressing the start without stepping on the brake pedal. So try holding the trip reset button and press the start engine without stepping on the brake pedal. Now if you don't have a trip reset button like in the video then... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@PickleTechProductions Yeah this actually did work! This is a new car to me so I didn’t realize that pressing the button without pressing the brake essentially does the same thing as turning the key one click. So I turned off the car, zeroed out Trip A and Trip B, pressed and held the odometer reset button on Trip A while pressing the Start Engine button (without putting on the brake), and continued holding down when it went into reset mode and that worked. (Mostly typing all this out for anyone in the future that happens upon this comment) Thanks for the response!
My 2010 Camry used to start flashing the "MAINT REQD" message after 4,500 miles. I recently turned over 100,000 miles and now the "MAINT REQD" light has started flashing after only 3,500 miles. Is this working as designed?
If I reset maintenance light before flashing will it count another 5000 miles? to be specific the light is not coming on, thanks bro that video was awesome.
The one on the left is low oil pressure, one on the right is battery malfunction. They turn on during the self-diagnosis period and should turn off on their own. If they stay on get the car checked out by professionals.
well first you fill the inside of the dash with gas, now be sure to fill it all the way to the top. then light it on fire, those lights will never come back on again
I come back to this video every year. Thanks man. You've helped hundreds of thousands of Camry users.

TH-cam works better than manuals :-)
