    Such a cool bike, if it has the oem piston you should change it out, there know to grenade without warning

    What did you do at 5:30? There is no point fiddling with the carburetor unless you have cleaned everything, with clean plug and new fuel. Do enjoy the bike.

      Let’s just say it was a good deal 🤫 the KDX are starting to get pricey so jump on a good deal if you find one

      ⁠@@Jspackman I’d say depending on cosmetic condition and hours $1000-$2000 is a pretty good deal if you can hit the trail that day.
      Check fork seals, wheel bearings, brakes, carb, gears,hours etc. bring a compression tester or bore scope if you got one. If they say it has a new top end ask for receipts.
      I’m referring to the last gen kdx, I think 96-06? Seems the older gen kdx go for a little less but they are usually in rougher condition and I dont know much about aftermarket support and availability of parts for the older model years. Hope that helps. They are really fun bikes

    dream bike. I've got a street legal kx 125 with all the trail upgrades you could want including ohlins suspension front and rear, but this is the bike i want. Once a really clean last model year pops up im snagging it for sure

      I’ve also got an 04’ kx125 , It’s a fun bike. It’s set up more for MX, stiff suspension and it’s only happy wide open.
      So far I really like the kdx. Soft suspension and torque.
      The powerband feels broad and more linear than my one two five.

      @quitr13 I've got it ported polished a more low end focused head and a 9 Oz flywheel weight along with a 12 tooth front sprocket, it lugs pretty good for a 125

      out of curiosity, how has the 2t faired on street. id be concerned about the sustained RPMS

      @trentszachnitowski4628 i have a separate gear that i put on for the street and im always stitching gears and giving it some revs to prevent buildup
