This is the first video I've watched of yours. The almond shape was beautiful. When you started to pop off the nail, even though I knew your nail plate would be fine, I couldn't help but cringe watching the orange wood stick push under the nail. I feel a binge watch of your videos coming on. ❤💅🏽
The first time I used KB Protect was in this video. I can tell you from personal experience this stuff works like a charm. This is the only pop off method I will ever do.
@@dianebrierwood7502 the KB protect is not meant for long-term wear. It’s meant to be used if you’re practicing something and you don’t want to keep it on.
The only way gel will cure is to use an LED lamp. So yes, I used a light, but I used the lamp that the company provides or recommends to properly cure their products.
that's a stiletto, almond are slightly more rounded at the ends. at least mine are. as mine grow out they turn into stilettos like that one. i must say. your hyper realistic nail is very beautiful on you.
There are many versions of an almond nail. No two almond nails are exactly the same everyone’s almond nail is always going to be different. This is more of a pointed almond and not a stiletto. When I sculpt, a stiletto nail the side walls are straight versus this was slightly around.
I'm always learning from all of you wonderful nail techs lol. Either way, it really did look beautiful. I couldn't afford that natural fiber, but I juat bought a 13 dollar natural looking gel from aliexpress. I do hope it gets here quickly. I've never, never tried this hyper realist natural nail look. I usually just use clear lol. Glass looking nails, until nails grow out filly.
I've been seeing this shape trend for awhile as well and love how sleek it looks. I'm doing my nails today and thank you for showing the form placement. It's how I thought the form should be placed, but wasn't 100% sure. Beautifully filed and shaped, Delia. xo
@@DeliasNailStudio bahaha I'm constantly changing the shape of my nails and always go back to the "traditional" soft almond. You'd think I'd learn not to embrace change.... jk. lol
Please don’t cry your nails off your natural nail please you can damage it entirely. I care about your real nail. I love your nail designs, but please don’t hurt your natural nail truly come from a place of love 💕🎨💅🏽
The first 4 minutes of the video was me showing you how to use the KB Protect. Which is a pop off method for acrylic and hard gel. I would never hurt or damage my nails on purpose.
I’ve done a lot of research before I bought the KB protect. I find that this is the easiest and safest way for me to do a pop off method with hard gel.
I’m guessing because the gel or acrylic is supposed to look like your natural nail. But I do this all the time with my clients so it’s nothing new to me.
I’ve heard this term a few times this week. To me it just looks like a natural nail that I’ve always done. Are you coming to the Nail Tech Event in July?
@@fairynailmother Not this year. I’ll be doing demos at NailCation in April in Hatters, NC. I also want to go to the show in Massachusetts in September.
I think it's a bad translation. I first saw it in Spanish where it says hiper... Which just means highly. But I think the English speakers called it hyper realistic instead of highly realistic which is fine by me.
Thanks for sharing , your a big help :)
Anytime 💕

Did you put that gel under a light? It is very pretty and natural looking.

Also, if you look at my lower arch, my lower arch is not completely parallel. The front part kicks up a tiny bit.

I didn’t damage my nail. I said in the video that I was using a pop off method from Katie Barnes.
That’s what I applied in the beginning of the video.
