I feel the most amount of nostalgia seeing and playing this although I do think Heavy Rain is Quantic Dream's best game. Both 10/10 titles. Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human don't have that same OG David Cage vibe to it. Lucas Kane and Norman Jayden for the win. The fact that Ethan and Lucas are both on the run from the police for the vast majority of the games makes it so suspenseful and epic. And the setting is beautiful in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy New York City it gives you that cold feeling seeing all the snow. The artwork is phenomenal and the voice acting and the music are A plus. 2000-2010 is the best gaming era in my opinion.
@@Cinemaphile7783 Not really. Most Playstation game developers have understood that most gamers hate QTE's with a burning passion. David Cage seemed to believe QTE's had come to stay and thus filled his interactive movies (not games) with them, quite prematurely. And it has aged quite, quite badly.. This game literally has a 5 minute QTE section at least every 10-20 minutes!! Can you spell "overkill"? Because this is more than enough for most gamers to go into ragequit mode. Sure, we *believed* it was cool. But that was 20 freaking years ago LOL 😉😉 EDIT And no. Blindly spamming random buttons in a panic in a horror game doesn't qualify as QTE..
@@Stigmatix666 So many things that didn't age well in that game though... I did remember the awful QTEs but now that I have watched over 50% of the game, jeez... so many bizarre choices! I honestly find that the game really sucks... my memories of it (back 2013) were somewhat alright (aside from the QTEs) but the rewatch makes me wonder how I was able to finish it. Another somewhat similar game that comes to mind is Blade Runner and it aged beautifully.
I tried so hard to play this game. I heard it was batshit, (and quite frankly the tutorial was) but I just couldn't deal with the controls. That's one of the most subjective things about a game, and if it doesn't feel good, it doesn't feel good. This game didn't feel good to play to me. I wish I could look past the controls, but they're either not implemented well, or just inherently not fun to me.
I remember the QTEs were awful but I remember it was somewhat ok. Now that I am rewatching it, I am seriously wondering what I enjoyed over 10 years ago. It sucks pretty hard. So many things are really bad... like anything involving the characters personal lives wow... also wondering how anyone can believe we are in NYC. It's literally 3 buildings and 4 rooms and.... snow. Lots of snow.
All of David Cage's games are pretty weird, but this one is absolutely insane. It really falls into that "so bad it's good" category. At least from a spectator's perspective. From a player's perspective... As others have pointed out, the controls could be a serious pain.
Oh boy! I finished that one! Some parts are infuriating!!! I remember when you are supposed to fight monsters at the office lol I actually enjoyed the game but lots of it is complete garbage.
1:34:35 that scene was bugged out on my end and you couldn't see the characters 🤣 (just the bed!!!) The scene actually includes some s... and you need to select the right actions looool
I remember indigo prophecies but I don’t remember this one (Fahrenheit). It’s been such a long time and it was a fantastic game. It was the first game I beat at 15 lol
This game had a great story in the first half (being detective and fugitive) and became weird story in the another half eith superpower and matrix shit😂
100% David Cage is just a plagiarizing fool. It's like in the middle of writing this game, he had The Matrix playing in the background & just copied the F out of it. Even right down to the city cops chasing you & being the common type to fight.
Hello David. We meet again. Only this time on a survival horror channel. Luckily this "Game" is about surviving a pretty horrific situation, so you get a pass. Barely.
It went pretty past from I only looked at him for a couple of seconds to I will never forget that face 😅 On the other hand I don't understand why you failed on purpose the interrogatory, in my mind it doesn´t make any sense.
I LOVE this game. It was very ahead of it's time and Lucas is a great protagonist.
You *love* QTE's??
@@Stigmatix666 I play Shenmue. Yes, I love QTEs, lol

you love Shenmue? HAH! then you must be coo-koo from 1994.Unless you spend time until February for Lan-di.
Dragon Ball Super Reference
Back when developers weren't afraid to be experimental.
Did you mean:
Back before developers understood that QTE's completely suck?
@Stigmatix666 Aren't some Playstation exclusives still using QTE, though? 😀

@@Puda Same. I finished this game *twice* upon release, but now I couldn't even play it halfway through before auto-rage..
This game got me into “Theory of a Deadman”. Loved playing it.
This game is a true gem. Thank's for replaying it for us.
o.0 i was literally thinking about this game couple days ago. This was the game that made me realize, A story can be ANYTTHING!!!

👍🏾 good game
Легендарная игра, хочу ремейк
Ohhh, my childhood.. That was a wonderful game, I played when I was at high school. ❤
Ayy! Shout to you, SHN! 👏
Oh hell yeah!
I totally love this game, played the shot out of it back in the day!

Conheci no PC e zerei no PS2, amei a história e o estilo da jogabilidade. Talvez seja o precursor do Heavy Rain que também acho muito bom!
They definitely did seem to go hand in hand with one another. I loved these games.
I agree. Both great games.
First time seeing this game. It was pretty good. Watched it from start to finish while doing work.
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy is early David Cage gold. PS2 was such a great era for gamers.
They should of done another one after this this game was brilliant for me.
1:31:45 Cutting that scene short was probably a good idea. :D
Thanks for always uploading, best channel for watching these games.
I can't believe I've never heard of this game before, it's so immersion and the soundtrack is legendary!!!
I remember playing a demo of it years ago

This game is pretty freaking good. Loved it on my PS Vita, will revisit
Bravo Giova finalmente!
My childhood 😢
I love this game, there could be a sequel to it. Like for the video, and for the great video quality.
3:37:20 Tyler opens the door into a brick wall lol
Pretty cool stuff 😎😎😊
Cool game
Amazing game! Never finnished it sadly...couldn't do the light up memory game though :(
I spent a ton of time on this epic game!♥️
This can remind me of heavy rain.
This game may not be perfect, but it is no doubt interesting and good to watch
Lucas just die saving tifanny and then Carla felt in love with him
More games like this please!
David Cage should change his name to David Cringe. Holy moly what a silly game. Can't believe I used to like this.
Deveria ter o remake desse game😍🔥
i wish there was a remake of this game!
Your wish has come true. There IS a remastered version of this game, but critics say the remastering did not do it justice, unfortunately.
Hmmmm, getting some PS1 murder mystery vibes. 🤔
Epic game.
this gameplay so amazing i love it
The only thing I learned from this silly game is pissing cures depression
This game is awesome
Perfect
Hahahaha theory of a dead man being the only band he knows
The arrangement of the music reminds me a little of Se7en (at least at the beginning, just started watching it about half an hour ago. Cool. :)
What's in the box? 💀
We need a remake
One of my fave games

He doesn't have 100 bucks because he gave it to “charity” but he suddenly has 200 to bet. What chump the other guy is lol.
I don’t liked the plot twist of Lucas getting super power like jumping 30m high. But otherwise it was a great game.
👍👍👍👍👍
very nice ❤

Amo este jogo, mas acho a segunda parte dele muito desconexa e incoerente com a história.
Amo esse game😍😍😍😍😍
Is it me, the game itself, or the recording but the audio sounds mixed weird, like the background noise is way too loud for the dialogue
The game is mixed this way had that issue while I was playing too
Jeez can you wash your hands after the toilet??? Aahh
1:02:50 the real crime here is that ugly sweater. Holy mackerel someone call the fashion police.
Lucas😍
This game is silly
Well pc😅
Always turn the subtitles on!
Subtitles were super small so I left them out
Oh NO, it's the second worst David Cage game
David Cage sure likes to congratulate himself for mediocrity..
What’s the FIRST WORST? lol… seriously I’d like to know… beyond?… heavy rain?
