Very impressive dance skills, choreography, synchronization, creativity, technical skills with handling flags. Music fit well too. Costuming, colors, hair updos, series of solos, duets, and whole group dancing'- wonderful. Almost no interaction between dancers except to momentarily switch over a flag. A far cry from the individuality and interactions between dancers in American Dance. Beautiful dancing and ribbon skills nonetheless. I hope they did well in the competition with this piece!

There was a fat boy who had a silk judo outfit that used to do this in the 5th and 6th grade. We'd laugh till we cried. This is better of course but he could have brought a crowd to tears.
My mom and brother suggested me to ribbon dancing since i can catch ANYTHING and EVERYTHING so well and my feet are PERFECT for ballet because i can lightly jump, know where my feet placements are really good, and wont get dizzy easily :) (i love roller coasters as a kid lol)
My teacher ask us to make a group performance of the ribbon dance and i was literally confused why she said that even if the ribbon dance is just for the solo's or duets
I always wanted to do this kind of stuff when I was younger. Looking back at it, I now see that these amazing dancers could've waved a straw and have better results than me.
