A lot of my collector coins are in 2x2’s I bought from this store in 1990’s. Loved rummaging through the boxes of bulk foreign coins in boxes by the cash register. Thanks for memory lane tour Jordan.
Hi Bricksie. Thank you so much for sharing your history and background with us. Your parents and the store most definitely shaped you and made you the person you are today. I think that's part of the reason why you love showing us Jose and the twins. You are all about family in your business, and that's what makes your channel so unique. Keep it up Bricksie. We love it.
It is a small world. I have visited this store every time I have been to West Edmonton Mall since I was a teenager. Which hasn't been that often because I don't live in Edmonton. I have bought some of my starwars collection from here.
What a story! Respect to you and your dad for what you have built up! Thank you for sharing this story; it is heart warming to hear how your family worked all together also in the past. I can see where you have it from, what you do now with your own adorable family!!!
Hello sir, I've been watching your videos since I'm 15, and now I just turned 18 this sept 17. I love watching your shopping videos so much information about legos I have learned from you that made me a lego fan. I don't have a lot of lego collections because I can't afford expensive stuff, but your videos giving me unboxing lego experiences I've never had. Thank you so much sir! Keep posting videos like this I love it.
Maybe the best video you've ever made. Super inspiring and impressive. Thanks for the fascinating trip into history and the awesome tour. When I eventually make it out west to Edmonton I will definitely check out the store.
Loved this episode Jordan! While I was aware of your connection to this store your story has been very interesting! Have loved going to this store even before the LEGO Store came to the mall so was always a destination if I came to town. So getting a description and breakdown was great as whenever I went it was way too busy to stay long or talk with staff. Thank you. And have a great and safe trip to Billund :)
That is such a cool store and a cool story. That is crazy that you used to work there and now you are a TH-camr that has 430k subscribers. That is crazy how life works. Keep up the great work. 👍
Awesome man, I’ve been on this journey with you since 2019. Good to hear your back story, I remember a lot of the things that were popular around the same ages, fun times for sure. Keep surviving!
Hey bricksie. Just wanted to come in here to tell you that you are braking my bank by being inspirational to get me a vinter/ Christmas village this year 😂😂. Can't wait for my order comes. Thanks ( I think???) 🤣🤣
You need that santas workshop - ask for it for Christmas 🎅 - it’s so so cool that you have gone out on your own venture I have worked with so many people that are bosses sons that don’t deserve what they have have because they don’t appreciate it and work for it they just hang on the coat tails. seeing you progress as we have on your channel it’s clear you would have worked so so hard on the collectible store if you hadn’t been busy working so so hard to entertain us all on TH-cam. But lastly you need that santas workshop 😂
My dad was a coin & stamp collector for 50+ years, when he died I had to school myself on coins to sell his collection. It's a really interesting stuff, especially foreign.
I had no idea that store had comics, and all of that! Thank you for showcasing it! I’m going to have to go get some graded comics! Really cool to see what you did before TH-cam! Great video!
Wow! What a great store! I'm a collector, started off with stamps when I was very young. Some coins and later music and movies. I have a lot of LP's, singles, CD's, DVD's and Blue-rays. Fountain pens and knives also have my attention. And of course Lego! That is since the last two years. I used play with it when I was a kid and later it lost my interest. But now it's back bigger than ever. I would love to take a look in that store but it is a bit far away. 😅 I live in the Netherlands. Great story, thanks for sharing it, Jordan!
That’s an amazing backstory Jordan! For some reason, I had it in my mind that before transitioning to YT you were an outdoors, river rafting guide … or something like that. 🤷🏻♂️
I see cute squishmallow and Nedoroids... I like those next to Lego.. I collected Nendoroids for a while and I want to pick it up again but it's an expensive hobby :) But I feel like that store has a bit of an identity crisis. I mean I see a lot of other things next to coins and stamps. It's cool though :)
Super cool. I'm really surprised you weren't into Lego as a kid though since you grew up around so many collectibles. That business seems like a LOT of work. Big props to your dad.
SImply incredible considering i'm a collector to, what an inspiration knowing what someone can achieve with years and years dedication, thank you for sharing such an incredible story, much love Bricksie :)
Woah! This is really cool! I’ve loved going to this place everytime I visit and knowing now that it’s run by your family is amazing!! Been a fan of the channel for a long time and seeing this is awesome
I visited this same mall back in 2018 but I don’t remember visiting this store. That was before I started watching you on TH-cam and I was with my family visiting some distant relatives in Edmonton.
This is easily one of your best videos, and that's saying a lot! Love hearing about your story and that store is simply an amazing place to grow up and learn to appreciate hard work! I wasn't ready for this wholesome content! :D
Great story, Bey blades and Pokemon cards I know them well, my sons are similar age to you and along with Lego and Star Wars they are the toys of their childhood. I will add we still have them all. Growing a business doing something you love is the dream job.
I wondered if you collected anything else other than Lego, seems you've been surrounded by great collectibles your whole life. What a great family store, I'd be interested in seeing Gundam or any Miniatures too if you ever make any.
Such a cool video man, thanks for sharing! People underestimate how much one can learn in retail, its why I love it so much. Next trip up the QE2 and I'll be seeing your stepdad!
Hey there! Yeah i remember POGS, i was in Riverside Calif where they were crazy popular. I had tons of them (I still dont remember what ever happened to them) but i would buy them too & sell them similarly to the way you did other things. I was in my 20s then (where has the time gone?) It was in the 90's.
Nice video. Please keep creating this type of content, I like the not strictly Lego videos. This place reminded me of a comic book store I went to growing up. In elementary school / middle school my mom would drop me off & go do errands. She got free babysitting for the cost of 1 Batman comic lol
Thanks for the post/update. You used to be super vague about what you did for work when you mentioned it in the past. Great to see some more transparency! Cool store!
yooooo as a kid I was into pokemon so much as well, I had cards from base, fossil, jungle sets as you say and a bit later like gym lider's sets and 2nd generation neo genesis :P
I could spend days in that store and probably thousands of dollars. I think I spotted a framed Yzerman sweater but couldn't see a Sid or Mario sweater but I'm sure they are in there.
Thaks, for sharing that! That is really cool that you shared that! It`s awesome to know. Obviously where you are isn't for free and it's great for anyone to know that nothing in life comes for free.

YOU MUST GET THE MCLAREN!!!!!!
That store is an absolute treasure trove, I’d spend hours there. Wish one day to get there
Maybe the best video you've ever made. Super inspiring and impressive. Thanks for the fascinating trip into history and the awesome tour. When I eventually make it out west to Edmonton I will definitely check out the store.

Absolutely would visit that store if I was in Edmonton
No way! After I moved to Edmonton it has been my favourite store in the city that’s so cool man.
Please keep us updated with this store !
I absolutely love the concept of that store and hope to visit one day !
Thank you for a great tour. Just awesome!
Thank you for sharing your story, it is super inspiring. Your family's store is a gem! Love it!
I always thought your last job was in An office 😂
Awesome man, I’ve been on this journey with you since 2019. Good to hear your back story, I remember a lot of the things that were popular around the same ages, fun times for sure. Keep surviving!
22:34 Love the Travis jersey, shame he retired because of injuries!,
Hey bricksie. Just wanted to come in here to tell you that you are braking my bank by being inspirational to get me a vinter/ Christmas village this year 😂😂. Can't wait for my order comes. Thanks ( I think???) 🤣🤣
Our families 3 favorite stores are right in that corner of the mall. The Lego store, The Coin Shop and The Book Store.
So interesting to hear your back story. It really makes sense as to your character and who you come across as. Thanks for the interesting video!

You should interview your stepdad for the channel! I’m sure he’s a fascinating guy!
Nice to see a bit of history, makes a nice change from Lego
So Nerd Heaven. You worked in Nerd Heaven. 😂
What a cool video. Loved learning more about your background. Will check out the store one day when I finally make it to the West Edmonton Mall.
I just saw some PlayStation 4 & 5 games!!! I'm marking this location as a must-visit location
My dad was a coin & stamp collector for 50+ years, when he died I had to school myself on coins to sell his collection. It's a really interesting stuff, especially foreign.
Great video! It’s neat to see where you used to work and hear the backstory. And now I see where you learned your space maximization skills!
I had no idea that store had comics, and all of that! Thank you for showcasing it! I’m going to have to go get some graded comics! Really cool to see what you did before TH-cam! Great video!
Greatest video ever. Love this type off things. Collected stamps, coins, and now: cards, comics, legos, statues … and NFTs
I think I want to be one of those tourist and visit this wonderful unique store.
Really cool upbringing story thanks for sharing!

Awesome, super comfy store! Feels nice knowing you walk past/visit family every time you visit the Lego store.

I would love to see content from the store, collectable stuff and Lego go hand in hand in my opinion.

That’s pretty cool Jordan… I thought you were like a accountant of some sort made a little money and retired early and invested in Lego
We love how much you love your family! You know we are big family people as well! Awesome video Bricksie 🎉
Nice video. Please keep creating this type of content, I like the not strictly Lego videos. This place reminded me of a comic book store I went to growing up. In elementary school / middle school my mom would drop me off & go do errands. She got free babysitting for the cost of 1 Batman comic lol
this makes a lot of sense lol
I want that Clefairy plush
Thanks for the post/update. You used to be super vague about what you did for work when you mentioned it in the past. Great to see some more transparency! Cool store!

If i ever go to edmonton from my home in ontario, id checkout your family store for sure. Easy to find being so close to the lego store 😊
Hey.
Great store. Speaken of Old sets.
I have Lego set number 1 unopened in my collection.
Still have my pogs. 😂
I love this video, a lot of lessons
Dusting in that store must be a full time job
Thaks, for sharing that! That is really cool that you shared that! It`s awesome to know. Obviously where you are isn't for free and it's great for anyone to know that nothing in life comes for free.
NO WAYYYYYY! When you said you worked in retail I thought of Walmart😅
I come there to check some hard to find collectibles...
Your the man Bricksie!
I thought LEGO store was the coolest store on the mal, but I was wrong it’s actually this amazing one just in front LEGO
R2d2 robotics set… my most built set… i built that and broke it down thousands of times…
Whoa, I had no idea that your family owned and operated it. I have been shopping there for decades.
Wow
So did you ever think you would be in Time magazine?!?!? Pretty cool to see you in the special edition! Congrats!!
Definitely not 😆 thanks!
So you know, Alexander Archbold? Curiosity Inc.
