I added some of my own seasoning and spice to taste: garlic powder, cumin, black pepper ( to cheese mix and on top ), cayenne pepper. I also added bread crumbs to the mozzarella topping. Loved this, THANKS!!!

Sort of how my grandmother used to make except she would cover the top with small pieces of bread before placing in the oven... The bread and the final coating of cheese made a fabulous crusty top with the same color as yours. It was the best and none of my aunts, all 5 of them, remember how to make it :( Thank you for sharing, will be making on Sunday, can't wait!

That's a good recipe. It's very similar to the one I use tho I prefer cheddar and mozz. It's always a hit at potlucks so what I would do is put it in the baking dish and sprinkle on the cheeses and then I'd wrap it in foil and take it to the party. Then I'd pop it into the oven at the party.

I have never tried macaroni and cheese. I have always thought it was literally only macaroni and cheese. Im really surprised, that milk and flour goes in it. I'll just stick with only macaroni and cheese. Thanks for sharing the recipe, though, my mum loved it.
