I go to Son Bou beach every year on holiday, and I’m going tomorrow, and it’s amazing! There is a resort called Son Bou behind it where you can rent a villa or an appartement or just go for a meal! Also there is things for children plus a little guided tour of the town in a small train which drives around! You should totally go, it’s awesome!
I spent two years on that wonderful island when I was in the US Air Force. I have been to Cala Galdana, Son Bou, Macarella and Macarelleta. The USAF used to have a communications station on a mountain near Fererries until the early 1990s.
Gorgeous footage! Those boats look like they're just floating on air at 0:44! We'll definitely have to check out some of these beaches when we get to Menorca.
@@TheTravelVlogger I bet that was an excellent experience. 10 years ago I visited Cala Galdana and the neighbouring beach's which left me wanting to see more.
It is amaizng! I just walked around the entire island and found a few new beaches that were stunning. I might have to make a top 10 beaches video for Menorca now.
hi yes me and my girlfriend discovered binadali a few years ago, and what a veiw to the lovely little cove from the top. we really loved it there, and took loads of videos and pictures. what a stunning hidden gem.
both of them, they are next to each other, and only nature surrounded,go there with this route if you like hiking:cala galdana---cala macarella---cala macarelleta---cala en turqueta ,or from cala en turquta to cala galdana
Quick question for those who have explored the island quite well. What beaches in Menorca offer chairs/ beach umbrellas for rent as well as bars/restaurants? Thanks
Platja de Talis, at the far western end of Son Bou's long beach is wonderfully naturist/nudist friendly. Predominently nudist, it also attracts a proportion of topless young Spanish women and a small number of textiles/non-nudist. All groups harmonise well, and create a very relaxed, welcoming, atmosphere . There recently, I intend to spend many more days there next summer.
I've been to most of these beaches and can say they look just as beautiful in person!
Thanks! This island is amazing. Isn't it?
Arenal den castell by far the nicest beach imo, should be number 1 .. stunning location
I go there twice a year
I go there every year and twice a year
Cala Galdana is amazing ! I have been about 7 times and I’m going again in a few weeks can’t wait.
7 times! Lucky you...i hope to come back in September to complete the Camí de Cavalls hiking trail.

I'm jealous! Hope you have a a great vacation :)
I have been to all these beaches and they are all beautiful. Menorca has so many more though, and the place I return to most often is Cala Santandria.
Gotta love Cala Galdana. I’ve spent many holidays there as well as Son Bou. Menorca is a fantastic island! :)
Merci…très belles plages…. Bon dimanche…

you are very lucky sir! I just did the Cami de Cavalls last month which is a hiking trail around the island. It was amazing!
@@TheTravelVlogger I don't know if that hiking trail existed when I was there in 1979-1980.
Cala'n Porter that's another nice beach and cove
Gorgeous footage! Those boats look like they're just floating on air at 0:44! We'll definitely have to check out some of these beaches when we get to Menorca.
Thanks! The beaches are amazing, some of the clearest waters we've seen. You def have to check it out :)
Menorca has very clear water around it. I remember seeing boats do that when I was there in 1979.
Gone here in n holiday for the last ten years . I stay in calan Bosch. Calan Bosch beach is quite nice and son xoriguer is also quite good
next time I visit I will be sure to visit those beaches too. Safe travels :)
I’ve been to the Arenal d’en Castell beach
I'm in Cala gal Dana right now in the bonavista apartments, I'm going back to England tomorrow :(

Nice video. My favourites is Binidali. :)
I wanted to make a top 10 video but i didn't have enough time. Safe Travels!
One of my favourites is Binidali, have you been there? It's small but absolutely gorgeous :)
I have not been there! No I have a reason to go back :) . What part of the isalnd is it near?
hi yes me and my girlfriend discovered binadali a few years ago, and what a veiw to the lovely little cove from the top. we really loved it there, and took loads of videos and pictures. what a stunning hidden gem.
You missed Cala Mitijana Beach!
I guess I will have to come back :)
you should have added binebeca , small but pure bliss !
Thanks for the tip! Guess I need to make a top 10 beaches video :)
lol..you missed out the top 5 beaches in menorca! ffs
but hey ..yeah, keep the best ones quiet!
Glad you did not name my two favorite Menorca beaches.... they are seacrets!
shhh! I kept them a secret for a reason ;)
bambopbam I have not revealed my two favourite and best beaches in my blog or TH-cam channel.
The Travel Vlogger good recommendation for tourists!but why didn't you keep macarella or macarelleta, one of my favorites😂
please share which beaches you are referring to
both of them, they are next to each other, and only nature surrounded,go there with this route if you like hiking:cala galdana---cala macarella---cala macarelleta---cala en turqueta ,or from cala en turquta to cala galdana
Where is the beach that is shown at .44 with the boats that look like they are in mid air?
Isn't that crazy! The water is so clear it makes an optical illusion. Just search "Cala Macarelleta" in google maps and it will come up.
How many are used by naturists?
Quick question for those who have explored the island quite well.
What beaches in Menorca offer chairs/ beach umbrellas for rent as well as bars/restaurants?
Thanks
there are probably more, but i know Cala Galdana and Son Bou do
