I didn't even know this many existed, how did you find them all?! I love how you did the beginning with the Rose quote but then you had other vocieovers between it to reinforce it SO CLEVER 'surprises her' 'it feel unpredictable' GENIUS AND THEN BOOM the song picks up aah so good! I feel like we get all sides of them at once like all the time in this video and it's so good, it's just SO THEM. I can't explain it, but like we've got 'you should have met me in 1864' and we've got like soft Damon talking to Elena and then we've got him lashing out in 3x14 with it and it just shows how complicated they are and how much they've grown and how good they are when they're together, they make each other better, it's SO GOOD. I am just in love with the placement of all these clips and voiceovers. Also it works so well with those lyrics 'my arms are tough but they can be bent', absolute GENIUS your lyric matching. Then then instrumental bit with the 'do you see a future with me' 'it's my life' 'nobody tells me who I love' parallels ah it's just so good, THEY CHOSE EACH OTHER AND ITS SO GOOD I've gotten distracted again by the amazing amount of voiceovers!!! Gosh the bit where you like merge Elena's speeches, first about 'i'm not sorry that I met you' and then the 'because I love you speech', again it's just so good because it shows how complicated their relationship is throughout all seasons and yet they're always drawn to each other. I think it just captures them PERFECTLY! then we have Damon's speeches and I swear these two merge perfectly?! Are they the same, or different? The 'would never erase' speech and then the 'the smallest chance at a mortal life with you is infinitely better than an immortal one without you', I'm sure they're different but it's so good!!!! THEY MERGED SO WELL. I AM OBSESSED! What an ending as well. Like despite all their struggles they still are together. I AM OBSESSED! The feels from this. SO SO GOOD! Ida you have outdone yourself, this is true perfection and I love it so much! I cannot thank you enough for this masterpiece. It is just so good and I will re-watch forever. THANK YOU!!!
I'll be honest... I had forgotten your love for voice overs 😂 but it makes me glad... Because remebering it while reading your comment made it just so much better! First of all - you will note that I have added Delena scenes to your Google doc. I went on a deep dive with this video and even then I didn't manage to squeeze in all the epic quotes. They. Just. Have. So. Many. I wish I could tell you that I had some master plan on mapping out the voice overs but my editing style is far too random for that. I just edit with my emotions and this happened to be the end result. Maybe because Delena just are so epic to begin with? Hard to make a terrible video with them! The Damon quotes are from different scenes - one when Elena is still without her memories and then the second speech is before Alaric's wedding! But I am so happy that you liked this! Idk what else to say 😅 just keep on enjoying the video because it took me way too long to finish so I will never remove it from this channel (or my laptop) 😂
