Ducati Streetfighter is track rpm, Super Duke is street rpm. Super Duke makes more horsepower and torque, on the dyno, than H2 and Streetfighter to 9500 rpm.
In the 70’s-90’s many cars offered disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear before all wheel disc. Horrible front end dive with emergency braking. All discs seem to solve that problem. Electronic suspension on motorcycles is a magic carpet ride. Worth the upgrade especially with antidive

You wanted to hear from people who have experience with electronic suspension, so here's mine: I got an R1M in 2015 and still have the bike. The suspension is really stiff as it's basically a track bike. I have a mode set up that I refer to as the "I've been strafing back roads on this fucking thing for 5 hours, I'm sore and want to limp home" mode, which is basically full soft on compression and rebound at both ends-it is in fact softer and a little nicer than the standard or track modes but is still not what I would call "plush". Then I got an EBR1190RS Carbon Edition, with proper Race Ohlins on it and not the Road and Track spec units that Ohlins puts their adjustable guts in....... Holy hell, what a difference. This bike is twice as plush as the Yamaha and a MUCH better handling bike because of the suspension quality. Most people never get to a level of riding where they can objectively discuss suspension and think that it's a matter of maybe Company O puts lower friction stanchions in their forks or maybe fancy coatings or minute differences in valving to end up with similar results to Company W, but I'm here to tell you that the difference between Good suspension and GREAT! suspension has nothing to do with automatic modes or how many clicks of rebound and compression it offers...... it's down to how sophisticated and how responsive the valving is in the initial portion of the stroke. This is what makes the bike composed over small bumps and yet take big hits in compressive loads. I know that the suspension companies that supply forks and shocks have to worry about what they will sell next year and the years after if they give the best they have, but I am here to tell you in no uncertain terms that the suspension you get even on an expensive up-spec motorcycle is really not that special, outside of the fact that now there are things they can do with damping electronically. The guts are still a decade or more old and frankly not much better than Showa BPF's. If you want good suspension, you have to buy race units that are manually adjusted...... you just won't care once you take your first ride.
Agreed. you can't beat well set up manual suspension. I've had a bike with electronic suspension and left it in the sportiest setting and never changed it again. Same with riding modes, utter tosh. Sadly it's where we are heading, electronics are everywhere these days, in fact even having to press a button now is too much for the modern human, hence voice control lol...another 50 years and we'll be conformist vegetables

I drove my KTM 1290 super AD S for 1500 km so far and found that the rear shock even in comfort is to hard on a bit bumpy or not perfect road when riding. And the bike kicks you on a bump so I will have to upgrade to suspension pro.

If KTM's weren't so damn tall I'd get one but instead ride a 2020 z900 which is 100% more than I'm comfortable using on the road since my other bike is a 650 lbs dyna street bob.
I was concerned about the tall factor but bought one anyway, the fact it's pretty light with fairly wide bars made me forget about that almost immediately.
Why not get the extra suspension? The bike is already expensive, so no one is buying this on value. I have changed my position on this because when I first heard about it I was not sold. Now it is the option I would get were I to buy this motorcycle. I can see the appeal, and if I had I would try different settings much more often.
I've owned the SDR EVO for a week love to tell what I think but weather horrible and tyres or almost shot. Has anyone put a 190/55 on the rear not much tyre choice for 200
Super Duke easy engine access with engine in full display. Streetfighter more semi naked with difficulty seeing the whole engine. I want to see the whole engine like a Ferrari or Lambo
I had a SDR (not Evo), but sold it. Great brakes and suspension. Looks great. Good sounding motor was outstanding performer... with just one glitch: on deceleration there was some weird automatic throttle blip it would do in the 4K range. Very annoying. The switch gear on this bike, as well as the other 1290s models that share it, is absolutely horrible. The switch gear on the 890 series (and even the RC390) is must better. I have been riding sine 1976, and it is honestly the worst I have experienced on any bike. And the ergonomics related to the bars is weird... not really "bad", just weird. Still quite fun, but I moved back to my 3rd R1. Just a more desirable bike IMO due to its lack of constantly annoying quirks. If they just redid the switch gear though, I would consider one again.
Definitely worth it , bought a brand new 2021 naked S.Duke RR and a vacation ride to Yellowstone , engine stopped running on halfway and stuck on Route 20 around midnight , in the middle of nowhere .. Dude, that’s my creepiest experience I’ve ever had . I don’t know what’s wrong with it 🥵🤬
Do KTM not realise they would shift way more units if they weren't greedy w........ and had a competitive total price that includes everything we see when the press bikes are reviewed! Can't believe you're already shelling out extra on the EVO, but need to dip into your life savings further to get the full functionality! My MT10 is just as much fun on the road 😉
I love these bikes, but I cant get behind the looks. The tank colour doesn't match the rest of the bike. Those pipes and radiator are super exposed. It wont take much to take a rock to the rad or dent the pipe.
You boys need to buy bikes in canada. I paid for mine 26 000 cad. Which is near 18k. euro and mine is evo with semi active suspension and tech/track pack.
Guy is basically telling everything we can read. Dry weight is a no go on a "review": I don't ride the bike "dry". I need ro know jow much it weighs with all fluids and a full tank, that's a valuable information
Massive overkill in my opinion. I can't see how you'll keep your licence for long using anything like the potential of this system for long. I think it's more about bragging rights on the part of the manufacturer and owner. I'd be more interested in the saner GT tourer that looks after your comfort needs.
It can be very tame. It’s comfy even though the riding position puts you forward into an attack position. I intend on having my bars bought back 20mm on risers for a bit more comfort. The only downside I have found is that in slow traffic 1st is too short and 2nd is too long. The clutch is easily light enough to just feather that a bit in 2nd. It is a phenomenal machine though. I px’d my ZX10 and pay £52 a month on PCP. There is not much more enjoyment you could get for the cost of a phone bill I don’t think. It’s a fun track bike, can be ridden long distance and can also be turned into a beast at the click of a button. Just my 2 pence.

@@owendcunha8906 you mean between the Streetfighter and the 1290?
@@whotf888 also the valve jobs

Biggest fan Powamoto says let me test ride Dat Thang 🤟💯🔥🚀🤘👍
Great vid as usual Bob👍🏻 FYI just used your discount code with speedo angels for my wife’s new CB500X. Cheers matey 👏🏻
Awesome! Glad to hear it - they're great products at a fair price. Appreciate your support!
Man, love the video quality BUT please use more than one music file… it gets really annoying after two videos… thanks;)
J ai cette moto ,j utilise le mode automatique pour kes suspensions et l’anti drive on,c’est polyvalent pour la route😊
That is a gorgeous machine. On my dream list but very expensive for a few months of the year riding. I need a higher paying job. 🤓
I want this Bike Right Now growing my collection and she's 📞
Why does it have a front wheel?
Ha. “I’m lookin at you winglets.” Totally agree
Great review.... All information
Luv ur video❤️ btw what's ur height brother?
I would pay extra to be able to electronically control all of my suspension settings if I were shelling for this bern new.
Great review!
Can we install super Duke's headlight and meter consel in Duke 390. Is it possible??
Would you like to tell me how tall are you because KTM super dukes seat is a bit higher than normal and I could take a idea if it's good for me or not
I had a SDR (not Evo), but sold it.
Great video!
i wonder, if owner can change springs on the semi active suspension?
I don’t think there is auto-preload on the mt-10sp.
I don’t know what’s wrong with it 🥵🤬
Soooo should i get this as a beginner bike or no ?
Yeah.
It's the Sewer Dude!
For someone who is 5'5'' can this bike be lowered without having to much of a affect on the bike. Thanks.
Honestly, I know the seat height is bigger but I felt more flat footed on the SuperDuke than my RC390 if you can believe that.
Was the engine warning light on the whole time?
Do KTM not realise they would shift way more units if they weren't greedy w........ and had a competitive total price that includes everything we see when the press bikes are reviewed! Can't believe you're already shelling out extra on the EVO, but need to dip into your life savings further to get the full functionality! My MT10 is just as much fun on the road 😉
You got the new gen ?
I love these bikes, but I cant get behind the looks. The tank colour doesn't match the rest of the bike. Those pipes and radiator are super exposed. It wont take much to take a rock to the rad or dent the pipe.
i quite like it tbh
Up spec models like this should have no options. That’s the point. Suspension pro wtf? Just include everything.
Amazing bike and really great looking, but I find it a bit expensive. Almost 18.000 pounds so it means more than 20k euros.
here in Finland this costs 28850€, ridiculous price but nice bike
You boys need to buy bikes in canada. I paid for mine 26 000 cad. Which is near 18k. euro and mine is evo with semi active suspension and tech/track pack.
One day ❤️
Where did u get that light on the ceiling?
Duke one love ❤️
Overkill for the road. Get the regular one if you are not doing track days.
I love this bike !
Wow 😍
What's your height
Beautiful bike, now all I need to do is win Lotto so I can get one, and a BMW S100RR & Ducati & R1 & Fire Blade Etc :-)
Guy is basically telling everything we can read. Dry weight is a no go on a "review": I don't ride the bike "dry". I need ro know jow much it weighs with all fluids and a full tank, that's a valuable information
How tall are you mate?
Bro whats you height????my height id 5.5 ...can i ride it confratebly????
My dream bike one day I will get u baby waiting for u thanks for a video
It is the supernaked I like best. But my 390 does for me. Lol
Bro you are f great 👍
Awesome.
🇰🇪🇰🇪👏👏👏👏
Almost 7 times the size of my Duke 200 !
;o)
Wow, so many features! Almost as good as my 2008 BMW K1200S with ABS, ESA, ASC, telelever and paralever…
Dude even 2022 bmws electronic assistances are horrible. And all are heavy, clumsy and look/feel like a fat cow
Is this the superduke 1290 RR....?
Nope.
Such a cool bike. But I literally know it is too much for me to handle at this stage of my motorcycling lol. And that’s okay. Maybe one day
Every time I see the 1290, I think "It's pretty nice, for a KTM." This one is no exception.
Huh?
