I took a screen shot at 2:54. Something I've told my nephew, who plays clarinet in high school, that EVERY musician should have in their case. He tried to tell me that there was no room in his case for one of these. Me, who's 35 years his senior and had been playing trumpet through high school and college. Hm...

Early jazz ( definitely not Dixieland as Dixie was the anthem for slavers ) swings like hell and it’s not easy to play ! Pops was amazing , and kudos to Wynton for keeping it alive

Wynton’s masterly and virtuoso assembly of standard jazz licks is impossible for his sidemen to match. That stupid singing ignores the problem completely!
