I recently got one myself, and one thing that I love about it i that the sound that comes out can depend on your voice too, so each person can chirp in their own way. I live in an area where i dont know the language too well and yesterday I went to an event in a suit using a similar whistle. Having your 'own' language actually erased the language boundaries, since if i dont know exactly what im asked, i can just chirp and act like a confused animal (a dog doesnt always understand you when you are talking to it) so i think it played out well with the character!
haha yeah its really good and I think it helps bring out the characters a lot more too. Glad you had fun at your event using the whistle, always makes peoples heads turn haha.
I got mine from ebay, and I got a pack of 10 for about 2$ or less, they arent expensive, and I really recommend buying more than one,since you might accidentally break the rubber that makes the noise, or it might break after long use.

You can also do that while rolling your tongue like making a purring sound without saying ew or ewp.. at least that's how I do it. I'm really bad at explaining things..

So, I watched this video a while back, (June 2019) and IMMEDIATELY wanted to get a wacky Whistler, and it definitely was worth it! It was low price and worked as intended! Unfortunately, one of my friends got one and thought it couldn't work and gave up on it because they couldn't figure out how to get it to work... But I want to assure you that it MAY be difficult at first, but don't give up and keep trying! You'll get it eventually! Alright, that's pretty much all. Thanks for the amazing video Engel!
Those whistles are absolutely adorable! I really love the sound they make! If and when I get/make my dutch angel dragon suit, I'll keep in mind to buy a whistle like these.
haha I do karate and unfortunately I fell backwards and landed awkwardly on my arm snapping it across. Thank god its held up in the past 6 weeks though haha.

I've been able to chirp without a whistle using the "monkey face" method. I don't even know where i learned how to... just one day i started to do it and six years later i can still do it.
In many ways it comes down to how you personally feel. It can get tiring chirping or whistling all day long so doing it from time to time to lesson the stress
You can also use a turkey mouth call for it It’s the same thing, I used to make those squeaking sounds with my dad when we went turkey hunting ^^ Also the purring sound that you made is actually a sound that female turkeys make to attract the males
I'm gonna be wearing a wolf partial soon, and Idk if I should squeak or not. I'm one of those people who want to act like their character and not talk at all. But since wolves irl don't squeak Idk what noise to make. I kinda want to squeak since I can't bark and all. So I don't want to be completely quiet and not make any noise.
