***** Thank you _Jeff_ !!! It's stripped down because it was not finished in time for this event. I'll meet Christian again this weekend and I'm sure that he completed the Mitchel ;) _Have a great time. Best regards, Horst_
It's probably a lot easier to access the engines without the cowls. Keep up with the awesome videos! Like I said before, this is stuff you just do not see in the U.S.
***** You're right, but if someone will build the cowls in two parts, it's much easier to remove them for sevices on the engines :) In 5 hours I'll travel to an air show in Italy ... I want to see what they have in their hangar :) Cya after the weekend ;)
locowerke Hi _Dougal_. Thanks for your great comment. This time the music comes "only" from two 3 cylinder radial engines. But for this size of the model they are just prefect. _Best regards, Horst_
tbobborap1 Thanks Pete. Yes ... Weston Park is on my calendar. Only bad weather conditions can stop me :) I'll bring some German beer for you _looool_ ! Cya there. _Horst_
Rob Stewart Thank you _Rob_. It was the 4th flight. As far as I know, most of my Austrian friends does not use expo. I don't know why. I always use 40% expo of all servos ... except the one for the engine :)
great flight i love your bird sir the saito sound awesome i bet it will fly better and land better with the added nose weight of the cowls on just loved this bird an love to watch the real ones come into urbana every year for the dolittle flight
Claudio Medalha Obrigado por seus elogios, _Claudio_. Este modelo ainda não está completa. Ele ainda não tem os painel para o motor e até mesmo as armas. _Um abraço, Horst_
TOPHAT1966GS Yes, the landing was a bit scary but well done anyway ;) The problem with this airfield is that the direction of the landing approach is very difficult to estimate. Most of them coming in with an wrong angle of about 5 to 10° If you watch my videos of ☠ MOMENTS 2013 / 2014 you will understand what I mean :) Thanks for watching and commenting. _Best regards, RCSA_
Jesper Andersson _loool_ ... you need an iPhone 6+ ... _loool_ The engines are from *Saito FG 60 R3* ... 3 cyl. radial. Thanks for watching and commenting !!!
NHfiddle Thank you for your great comment. It's _stripped down_ because it's not finished in time for this event. I'll meet Christian again this weekend and I'm sure that he completed the Mitchel ;) _Best regards, Horst_
Beautiful ! Like the exposed engines. Those things put out more than 4.5 HP each!
***** Thank you _Jeff_ !!!

Lovely to watch.
Do you think it is a right mix engine and size of the plan?
Is this a maiden flight? A bit twitchy in the air, expo adjustment maybe. Very nice plane.
Rob Stewart Thank you _Rob_. It was the 4th flight. As far as I know, most of my Austrian friends does not use expo. I don't know why. I always use 40% expo of all servos ... except the one for the engine :)

The landing was a bit hard bending the left main but he made the best of it great job getting it down in one piece.
