This guy is insane, I still can’t believe he got a Commander class figure. A big, chase figure from a Japanese only toy line from a Japanese only TV show from 25 years ago! Nuts! I remember first hearing about the character in middle-school 20 years ago and he always held a mythical, unobtainable status in my mind, next to something like Mew in Pokémon. The fact that it’s an officially mass-produced figure in 2024, AND ITS AWESOME JUST BY ITSELF is seriously blowing my mind

It's been a year or at least close to one since this guy made his debut on the United poster and I still can't believe he exists. Seeing the purple shoulder Giganoto poking out of the frame inspired an unhealthy level of hype in me... And the toy is so solid too! I honestly find it kind of funny that the designers went full throttle for a character that not only isn't really well known outside of the Japanese market, but doesn't even seem to enjoy "cult favorite" status like Star Saber or Lio Convoy sometimes do.
If I still got figures, Magmatron would be top of the list of no-thought purchases. Such a fun concept basically being a combiner but it's just one guy.
Having no attachment to the original Magmatron toy, or Beast Wars Neo, I love this version of him. 99.95% of him is perfect in my eyes. The only legitimate issue/flaw I have with him is the sword being a soft plastic. If I have him holding the sword like he's slashing diagonally, it starts drooping and doesn't look good. Other than that, I love every bit about him. And I really hope they make a new Big Convoy to pair with him.
I’m still unsure about this guy mainly because I dont really wanna pay 90 dollars and I don’t have a shelf he’d look good on so I skipped him but believe me I’m tempted but I remember why I said no the first time
@@Majinhero I'm aware but it doesn't do anything significant that the original can't do Only benefit is size and posability but i have no space for him and don't typically pose my dudes.

Magmatron was somebody I just HAD to have for how obscenely cool his altmodes were, ontop of how wacky and bizzard he was.

From what i've heard; the combined Magmasaur mode IS his main alt mode, with the dinosaurs rarely appearing separated.

Oh yeah fer sure, not everythings for everybody. But you can still enjoy him from afar if he doesn’t fit in with your current shelf layouts.
