I have passed from this clg in 2016 with aeie. My advice would be dont take this clg its a govt clg by name only. Here placement is very bad and u will also not get good marks compared to other engg clges and also fees have gone up very nowadays. So my opinion go for any other prvt clges..
Your review is pretty organized and unbiased! As the student of UIT, BU, I agree, that the placement stats needs a significant improvement! However, if you see the GATE results of the students of past few years, they are extraordinary! Many of our students are currently studying in IITs and in other prestigious institutions! One of our students is currently working in NASA! So, what you will do after 4 yrs, solely depends upon you! College is just a tag, nothing else...

I was a Civil engineering Student at this college. I recently passed out from this College in 2020. Placement scenario is not at all good. Even CSE guys get placed in different software based companies but I feel for a long term prospect getting into software based company is not so good. The Laboratories are not so good. I think the only thing better in this college is the faculty in it. Some of the professors teach us really well but some of them are utter piece of shit. The administration of the office is gloomy and really bad. Never mess up with the administration here. If you try to mess up with them you will be tripped out for sure. The best thing is to keep your mouth shut about the administration and have a bachelor's degree and leave this gloomy place soon. Right now I am studying at IIT Madras as a MS Research Scholar in Hydraulics and Water resources Engineering. At the end of the day your efforts would really matter. And there are many other in my Class who are still not clear what they really aim in their life. Some of them are really sitting jobless for 3-4 years also. So I would suggest not to come to this college anyway. In this College I sometimes felt that I was a bird who is literally caged behind the bars. I don't want anyone else to feel that.
