One of the brake lights is out , because if the person comming to drive the car hit somebody and there is no insurance on the truck then who will pay for the accident , all the other people who have insurance will have to pay when the insurance company raise the rate for all , if you give them an inch they will take a mile ! that truck should have been impounded and they will still drive with no insurance and no registration and if they hit anyone the police should be held liable ! If you can have somebody to come and get the truck then you can have somebody pick you up !

when I was in my early 20's I got pulled over by an AST and given tickets for speeding & driving left of center. I was executing a legal pass of a slower moving vehicle at the time, but the fact that I was driving a red sports car and had long blonde hair tied back in a pony tail influenced the officer to write me up. I had literally done nothing wrong... so when I see an officer cut folks a little slack on the road, I have a different opinion than most of the commenters here.
While I agree that if you knowingly break the law there should be some sort of repercussion, I also agree with the statement you're making. Sometimes a little slack holds more influence then getting wrote up. Maybe even a little respect is gained on both sides. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I definitely appreciate your comment!

Big mistake not issuing the tickets and or towing due to no insurance . The injured party would hire the proper attorney and Sue the officer his boss his entire troop heck he would go after the State who ever has deep money pockets for not properly training. Even though I served my country for 23 honorable, years, the Utube police have and will threaten people with removal from Utube violating our constitutional rights of Freedom of Speech! As a kid my parents both smoked in the house and car. I hated it and as an adult I wouldn't let them smoke in our home. They only came over three times in 40 years. It was OK by us, we also refused to go to there house because everything stunk like smoke and was all sticky from the tar and nicotine. In the end it all worked out, my wife and I ended up with no vices, and are very healthy.
