This melody has been in my heart for 15 years since I played it in a community band, and I just remembered the name to find the piece. Amazing work
Played this in high school in 2006 or 2007. Took me till now to figure out the name, but the melody has been in my head the past nearly 15 years.

im playing the piccolo and my director keeps telling me to play out because I have the melody and i’m losing a little bit of my hearing every day
Take it from a drummer, hearing protection is very important if you don't want tinnitus. Invest in some good musician's earplugs and save your ears.
