Doğaçlama müzik ve gerçek zamanlı görsel üretim yazılımı sayesinde tüm üretim sürecini an'a bağlıyor.
The technologies of today are making the rigid walls of art and art production pliable and transparent. These five artist whom have come together in various projects in the past are aiming for the hybrid perception of audio and visual. Through improvisational music and real time visual production software they are connecting the whole process to the present moment. In the performance where the momentary mood changes are going to be reflected on the stage in audio and visuals, the artists will see how the next moments' audio and visual will take shape and will be sharing their creation process with and in front of the audience.
    - NoHlab, was founded by Deniz Kader and Candaş Şişman in 2011. It is a multi-disciplinary studio that produces international projects in the fields of art direction, experience design and new media.
    - Osman Koç is an electronic engineer and directs his own studio. In addition to technical consultation time to time he makes prototypes for commercial and art projects and researches different interaction methods for stage and installations.
    - Born in 1983 Alp Çoksoyluer got his masters degree from ITU Miam program. In addition to his audio engineer and bass guitarist identity he also works on electronic instrument design and electronic music performance.
    - Görkem Şen adds a brand new dimension to his multidisciplinary work which are performed with an awareness of artful sound and universal music with the brand new acoustic insturemet 'yaybahar' that he has invented.

    Subtitle-
Welcome everybody. Today's technology expands the creation of art and makes it more transparent. With every passing day we see art performances in forms we have never seen before. Ans some of these, like todays performance, are created right in front of the audience. The visuals you will see in this performance are generated by a software we are still developing. What makes the software special is that, none of the visuals you will see are stored somewhere, they will all be calculated and generated in real time. Because we do this via a computer we can analyze the sound in the environment and use it. As a result we can generate visuals that are affected by the sound in real time. Also via the manual controls, Deniz can join the musicians improvisions by influencing the imagery.
This instrument is Yaybahar (~string+spring). Gorkem is occupied with production of instruments and acoustic experiments. Alp will create a more electronic sound via effects he picks up from a bass guitar.
In these types of projects where different disciplines are combined, in addition to the importance of each discipline's ability, the dialog between the disciplines is also very important. Because, all of us are operating outside our real profession. For example, I am an electronic engineer and working on interactive systems...
The thing we aim to achieve here is to create a performance where audio and visual is considered as a whole, and the line between which one is influenced by which has became blurry.
    Enjoy.

The children's toy you are referring to is called a "Zoob Tube". It is a large cardboard tube, several feet long with a spring attached at both ends of the tube. Much of the sound here is produced in the same way; it's a simple spring reverb. Lot's of fun and practical too.

Is something wrong with the mic, or does the language feature all those stutter- like stops?

      Its a noise-gate.Badly adjusted.
The idea is to prevent the mike from feedbacking , but they better had turned the mike down and give more length to the release of the noise gate .

Congrats! It is a great and interesting instrument, and i have seen even better videos of him in a simple wooden cabin space. Sounds amazing, however I suspect there is still a lot of digital Reverb added to the mix, (nothing wrong with that either, just curious ) Correct me if I'm wrong. Nadaka

I was wondering about the digital reverb too, but apparently that's what the yaybahar sounds like without any effects or post audio processing. The whole point is that the sound travels back and forth to the membranes through the springs.

Nadaka Gopika Kragnorak There is no digital reverb added, check the latest video of Gorkem performing with Yaybahar: vimeo.com/110633932

The springs are responsible for the reverblike sound. Spring reverbs were used to create reverb in guitar amps e.g.
