Ron Roberts in our department its the older retirees who cant do firematic work but still want to be a part of the dept. they respond with the utikity and brush trucks that are equipped with traffic control equipment.
I wish we had that luxury. We keep most of our traffic stuff on the rescue but we keep traffic stuff and cones on every truck. We wouldn't even be able to staff another unit just for traffic
Ron Roberts A slicktop fire unit makes even less sense. Any department owned vehicle should be fully marked with a lightbar. The ones in the video have a terrible lighting package and aree dangerous to respond in.
Nice I don't get why the fire dept uses unmarked Ford police explorers interceptor for use there is no makings and plus people might think when the lights are off that it is a unmarked patrol car
What do you mean so many lights? They're fire trucks... The fire company was called to assist at an accident scene with leaking airmobile fluids, patient care and traffic control.
+Space Is the place West coast fire departments don't need assistance with traffic? So what do they do tie up the police departments? These volunteers are needed so the real police can deal with the crime and bs around here instead of sitting at a fire scene all day. This isn't best area. The cops have much more important things to deal with.
I love traffic 11
I love the new Ford Explorers. I love how the other car pulled next to the other Explorer. They looked awesome side by side.
That guy was just not pulling over for Deputy 11!
Do you happen to know what interior visor lights they use for Chief and Deputy 11 or if it is just a modified dash light(s)?
The first slicktop/undercover fire vehicle looked like it had either two red Whelen dual avengers or two Fed Signal dual vipers
3:20 why did the engine turn, and then turn its lights of? Did it get canceled or something?
Yeah they got on-scene and ruled the accident code 4 so no other units except I think a Traffic Unit after the engine responded
What siren did the chiefs use?
While watching the video I couldn't help ,but notice how much the headlights drowned out the Emergency lights
Chris Frank they dont really, its the camera.
what is the different between deputy and chief because they have the same car
The chief and deputy are different ranks in the department. Chief is the top and deputy is just below him.
thanks for the info
I've never seen a Traffic rig what do they do? at the Lincoln Fire and Rescue we use Fire Police
The traffic unit is manned by fire police.
Ron Roberts by any chance is the fire police like a fire Marshall? Here in Jacksonville,FL we don't have them...
Fire Police are volunteer members of the fire company who specialize in traffic and crowd control. They work emergency scenes, parades, ect.

What's the point of an unmarked fire vehicle? Are they trying to sneak up on a fire?
The chief buggies are brand new and aren't marked yet.
Probably pov or don't have there decals yet
They don't have decals yet

Perhaps if they were lit up like traffic 11, the driver would have gotten the hint.
What state is this?
Pennsylvania

they were probably brand new and i believe they are not marked
They are marked. I uploaded a video of Chief 11 responding, yesterday.
Outstanding yielding there bud
Insanely good catch mate. So many lights. Why so many units showed at the accident? And why the big firefighter units?
What do you mean so many lights? They're fire trucks... The fire company was called to assist at an accident scene with leaking airmobile fluids, patient care and traffic control.
Ron Roberts
i mean the cars are really packed with emergency lights. they are very visible
paulmagnnum just n case if they need jaws
Ron Roberts awesome as always
headlight flashers... very useful
is that a SmartSiren?
hate the people who pulled out and blocked them
whats your channle frequency ron roberts
Need two CHAOS'S for an MVA
Wasn't that chaotic of a scene...
The Dodge Dot oka has a head light out. Sorry spell check.
Yeah agreed its the auto guy in me.
What is the point of traffic police? I'm glad most of the progressive west coast Vol Fire stations don't have the need for all that.
