Neat is two blocks from my best friends house. We always stop by the Bar for cocktails and to try some pours of allocated stuff. Their new bottle shop next door is really cool.
I actually have both Maker's Heart Release. I noticed they had different bottle dates but didn't even realize they were slightly different proofs. The one bottled in April is 111.7 proof and the one bottled in June is 112
My Brother bought me a bottle of the Woodford Double Oak, at the distillery. It was outstanding. I've bought a few other bottles, off the shelf, and they tasted nothing like the distillery bottle.
When going to distilleries I always try to seek out the single barrels they have there. I've had so much success with those bottles. Thanks for sharing.
I am blanking but just curious have you done a Daveco tour? I'd be curious about their picks and selection since I send my friend from Nederland there all the time when he can lol
Dang outside of the military base, the bakers 7's are basically 90 bones before tax here. I get them on base for 65$ so most things for me are about srp but add a few bucks like 3-8 dollars and thats what the millitary bases costs are on most things. Great haul brotha! I just found two STAGGS 24A at bassically retail at a Safeway/Albertsons! They had a 135th four roses anniversary le but i didnt feel like spending that much today. Lol
I much preferred the bakers when they were sub $50. Last time I saw them for that price was about two years ago in Santa Fe New Mexico. I haven’t bought a stagg since the 18 release. I’m so behind on them and they seem to have disappeared from Colorado.
Nice haul you’re willing to spend more on alcohol than me for sure. And that’s okay everyone needs to set limits. I’m sure those bottles over 100 are worth it to you. For me not so much. But that’s okay everyone needs to set limits on what they are willing to spend on alcohol. My cap is 100 including taxes. Just me but I just can’t justify spending more than 100 on whiskey.
I completely agree setting that limit! but a question I have is, is that total in a single trip/store. or per bottle? That 100$ limit after taxes. I don't like spending more than 150$ after tax per bottle personally.
Congratulations on a fun trip and a nice haul.
The one haul to rule them all.
You know it!

Its a great spot.
One impressive haul of bottles and you were rewarded for the early mornings getting in line. Fun to see those new additions to your collection.
It was quite the treat for getting up early!
Hot damn, that’s a haul, look forward to the future content.
Great haul!! Some amazing pickups!! That HH18 is awesome!! Cheers
I’m glad you enjoyed the haul. It was a very lucky day.
What a haul Patrick congrats. Thanks for sharing where you got them from too. I’m planning to go to Kentucky soon and this really helps.
I'm glad this was helpful! Have fun on your trip!
6:15 neat is a great spot. They have a store and right next door is a bar
Word. Yes its more than msrp but wild turkey 12 for $110 and some change is worth it imo

Do they taste different?
@@TheWhiskeyCove I've only opened one so far. Been meaning to blind the 2 of them to see if there's any difference
Nice grabs!

Ibhve done a few videos there. Go to my channel and search worlds biggest liquor store.
"We paid that amount of money for that bottle"
Really all I need to know about Woodford 90 proof blended malt.
Nice haul! Was fun watching the daily updates as you lined up at HH.
Did you visit Evergreen Liquor?
Ah well done on that old fitz 13. I know how much you wanted it.

Hey why don't you finish with a drink to celebrate all your drinks - your liver.
You have to keep the ole liver guessing.
