St Athanasius: Defender of the True Faith

This 4th century bishop of Alexandria was crucial in the debates at the Council of Nicaea that produced the Creed we use on Sundays at Mass. We will talk about his life and then briefly discuss his principal works and their importance for how we understand both who Christ is, and who we are.
