They quickly forgot why France came to Algeria! If France intervened in 1830 it was to put an end to piracy and raids on the French coasts, The French then built and developed the country (roads, hospitals, railways, schools, administrations, draining of marshes and development of agriculture). And not for the purpose of enrichment since the colonies cost more than they brought in. Between 1500 and 1830, Muslims in the regencies of Tripoli, Tunis and Algiers captured and enslaved more than 1,250,000 Europeans. The end of the slavery of Europeans by the Barbary Islands did not definitively end until the capture of Algiers by French troops on July 5, 1830, freeing the 40,000 slaves of European origin with the arrival of the army. . It's funny how the dz forget to mention this part of the story!!!
@@jnounan If the French then build and develop the country (roads, hospitals, railways, schools, administrations, draining of marshes and development of agriculture), as you say? why then do they import wheat from the regency of Algiers? and above all that they were unable to pay their dues to the treasuries of Algiers, for basic infrastructure no one asked for help from France, if it did it was just to encourage the arrival of his compatriots from overseas and encourage them to settle down to populate a new land acquired by fire and blood.
@@jnounan It's not that we forget! But let me clarify this for you. Algeria wasn't a vast desert with no civilization; it was a significant region, being part of Numidia, then annexed to the Arab Empire, later under Ottoman control, and finally colonized by France. The slave trade in Algeria was not based on ethnicity but rather on religious beliefs. Non-Muslims were more likely to be enslaved. The roads that France constructed and other infrastructure developments you mentioned were primarily intended for the European settlers and built by the indigenous people. It's important to note that Algerians were more literate than the European settlers brought by France. One of France's strategies at that time was to close every Quranic school, where people used to learn how to read and write.

They quickly forgot why France came to Algeria!
If France intervened in 1830 it was to put an end to piracy and raids on the French coasts,
The French then built and developed the country (roads, hospitals, railways, schools, administrations, draining of marshes and development of agriculture).

You're talking rubbish. On the other hand, I will give you some real information: Algerians are a resilient and rebellious people who have never given up, and who have always come to the aid of suffering and oppressed people. For centuries and centuries, the Algerians had to fight invaders, until the war of liberation against France. France committed atrocities against the Algerians and made 3 million Algerian martyrs, who died while liberating their country. We can even estimate up to 10 million martyrs if we count from the beginning of French colonization in the 1800s. France remained in Algeria for 134 years. Furthermore, during the First and Second World Wars, millions of Algerians died fighting to liberate France. The cemeteries of France are full of Algerian martyrs. They were called “Algerian Tirailleurs”. They were fighting on the front lines. Real warriors. The Germans trembled when they saw the Algerian Tirailleurs. The USA had military bases in Algeria during the Second World War. In short, L the Algerian people fought against many invaders, such as the Roman, Arab, Ottoman, Spanish, French invasions... This is why the DZ (Djazair = Algerians) are considered to be true warriors (Mujahideen) who have always fought for their freedom. Moreover, JF Kennedy had supported the fight of the Algerians in their fight against France. Under Kennedy the USA was the first country to recognize Algeria as a Sovereign State. For the occasion JFK made a famous and historic speech to congratulate the Algerian people (videos that you can find on TH-cam)... and when Algeria gained its independence, Kennedy and the First Lady invited Ben Bella, the 1st Algerian President, at the White House. In fact, Kennedy saw in the fight for freedom of the Algerians a fight similar to the Americans against England (the redcoats). These period images are easily found on TH-cam and the Internet. Recently the American Ambassador went on an official visit to Algeria and she recalled the ties of friendship between Algeria and the USA... As well as the importance of Algeria for stability and security in the region. Especially since the USA and Algeria are carrying out joint exercises between the two armies. France too for that matter

Incredible, we must not mess with them.
According to US ranking
Our military is considered the first strongest in North Africa the third in all Arab countries and the 26 th in the world and it can match Germany and Thailand and Canada’s power ( similar fighting capabilities)
And according to Russia’s ranking
We are the 13th country with strong military but I personally think it’s impossible and it must be because we are one of Russia’s greatest allies
Also our country spends a lot of money on the army and we’re fine with that 😂 as long as we’re protected nowadays you don’t know when Us or nato will target your country and destroy it like they be doing in Syria Irak Yemen and Palestine
If u could only understand what the sergant said to that pour soldier on 7:07
Sergant : are u able to do it
Solder : yes i can
Sergant : u are not ready
Solder : no i can do it
Sergant : then start again
Solder : oh shit here we go again 😅😅
It is not weapons that defeat the enemy, but love of the country that makes the enemy defeated
bro thanxs for sharing algeria in the video . ireally appreshare it but to know this is only test not traning to see if thisguys are capableto be in the ASF
Well juste so you can understand, those are recruits from national security applying for special forces of the same unit, they are constantly talking to them saying are u capable ? Why arnt you fighting back then .. are you really capable ? And the recruits are screaming IM CAPABLE ! The goal from the harsh bootcamp is testing ur motivation and your level of stress and emotion handling, algerian special forces are along the best in working in harsh conditions and terrains, those guyz have a large varity of mission from anti terror to personality protection and even fighting crime.
This isn't a training session but this is an applicatns test to joint this elite unit in same fashion SAS test applicants , this unit DSI is a highly skilled and one of the best equipped SWAT units in algeria given their national juridiction on the other hand this video Is from 10 years ago, if you want to have an Idea about algerian special operations capable unit just look for 104 & 116 MROs although in same fashion all their videos are old 😅
نقسو الفرفارة يرحم بباكم 🙏🙏🙏
I think what the tests for is to see if someone blows his cover up under pressure you know people will say everything when they get tortured

Respect 👏👏
This is a pre selection for regular forces to access / join special ops. They ask do you have what it takes or do you give up and also if they can’t complete the parcours course they fail!
