This town's theme is one of my favourites, sadly there isn't so much to do there

I feel like that was the point, just a nice little town where you can waste your time. I personally ended my journey there
Best place to go when you fully finished everything the game has to do and all your pokemon just got transferred to a new home in Hoenn, Kalos or Alola.

Anville Town was hidden from me when I first played White. I saw it on the map but I never knew how to get there. One day I finally found it, and I was greeted with this tune... You always make me feel nostalgic Zame :)
not me man discovered this gem of a town on my first play-through when i just trying out the battle subway. Although the sad thing is there just doesn't seem like a whole lot going on in Annville town. Its just a quite peaceful town rural town that just so happens to have a railyard in the center of it. One things for sure it definitely does stand out in terms of areas
@@BladeMasterIcarus Anville Town has a different purpose in the game besides being a way to get some items with trades. The idea I always get they had was to make it a reward for those who explore everything, and the fact that you can trade items there on holidays makes it more clear. You are welcome by a sweet melody and kind people, as well as turists who like you went there because of curiosity.

This is a lovely remaster of Anville Town. So calming and chill, but captures the location perfectly. Thanks Zame! You hit it out of the park!
sadly that this town was very forgotten,maybe if there was a event in this town it would have more recognition
the closest it got to munch content wise was the different boxcars everyday that showed up and one small sidequest about helping a little girl find her missing pansage.
There just isn't a whole lot to do in this area since its just a railyard.
Black & white 3 better change things, by making this the starting town.
Might be a weird take, but I always thought the fact it was so otherwise forgettable made it special.
It was a place with no purpose to the main game, you can go the entire game never coming here and you don't miss anything. The whole area's just an ambient detail that would either leave an impression on some people or none at all, and I liked it that way. I mean, we're all here because we remembered it nonetheless.
I think it's nice when games have things like this, even just to tuck away a music track. Gen V was full of musical details like that.

Same. Though I take a few issues with the unova gym leader remaster, I'd still take it over the original.
I have. I would say her strongest remixes are usually from Gen 4, but her Gen 3 remixes/remasters are pretty weak. Glad she’s working on them more now because I felt that they were quite neglected before, but it’s still not to my taste. Games from Gen 3 (RSE, Ranger, Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue, etc) generally have my favorite music from the franchise, while Gen 4 is probably my least favorite (or the marked beginning of a downward trend) musicwise. But I genuinely don’t like her remixes of Gen 3, and she made me like some of Gen 4’s music more (even though Eterna Forest is already a masterpiece... she actually improved upon it too).

Damn, why is the art for the Unova tracks always the best? The use of flute is really good to display a location buried in there sands of time

One of the more underrated town themes from Gen 5
This theme hit me hard, I had forgotten about it. Not just that, the flute is so beautiful! Makes me want to pick up my ocarina and play it accordingly with your remix of the song.
Stuff like this reminds me that I need to replay Gen 5. I barely remember this town theme but it's so pleasant (granted Anville Town is out in the middle of nowhere and there's little to do there but it still has been too long).
I was just thinking about this theme, Zame might be spying on me.

Anville Town always had the most beautiful and calm theme of any area in Unova to me, I always loved visiting the place despite there not being much to do.
I think that was kind of the whole point though, just a nice, relaxing sleepy countryside town on the outskirts of the bigger cities in Unova that's home to a small locomotive service and repair depot for the Battle Subway and other engines.
No battling to be done, nothing large going on and with a small population too, it just adds a nice scenery break to the game with a sweet little theme to pair that really makes it feel like a place you'd want to live in yourself.
Since I'm a massive train fan I think that was the part that made me love it the most too, I always enjoyed seeing the new locomotives on the turntable and I really wish more games included them or things around them, though at the same time I'm glad they don't since I think it makes Anville Town just that bit more charming, special and unique.
The strumming guitar in the background sounds really good.

I was listening to the old remasters a while ago, I'm happy to hear some more of this beautiful theme
for some reason. the nostalgia hit just as it started. ive never felt something so good and i feel like im missing some pokemonn in the amount of 6. Ive gave my nintendo 3ds to my cousin since i ddidnt use it anymore. Hope he is happy with it. I will miss you Bushmaster, Serperior.

Even if Anville is just a small trading/train resting town, the theme definitely makes it one of the most memorable places in the game. Beautiful remaster
Awesome!!! I loved your old version, and this is a really nice upgrade to that one! Big fan of the quaint vibes here; the flute in the latter half of the loop makes more sense than the more pronounced strings in the original remaster, but I still enjoy both versions!

I came here once, thought the train vibe was pretty cool, found out there were only like 3 houses, left and never returned because younger me never talked to enough people to know that there’d be more people on different days.
I have always played this when I was in the railway yard whenever it was safe to listen to music.
It's always the underrated ones that sound amazing.

I was wondering why the beginning sounded so familiar and realized it was because it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's Moon River!
If gen 5 got remakes, Anville town should house the Catching charm from a woman who's not like any other girls, she loves trains, and in order to get the catching charm you'll need to see all of the train cars.
"Sup, im your friendly neieborhood train watching lady, you want to catch em all? No i dont mean Completing your pokedex with agonising pain, nah you'd best be better off with the Catching Charm, But you'll better see all those trains if you want it!"
