this is my favorite song in any game. weird choice i know haha. just the way it sounds and how calming it feels will always have me coming back to it for some reason. gen 5 is my favorite region and it will always have the best ost to me
Not a weird choice at all, this tune is super unique! It makes you feel not really relaxed fully, but also just safe and sound knowing everything will be ok. Gen 5 has the most emotion in its music compared to the rest of the games in my opinion, which is a big reason why I and many other people love it so much! This theme really fits the town, seeing how the people feel safe when they go inside their houses at night
Can totally understand it. I have always preferred the more jazzy and chill laid back themes. That's why I love sinnoh so much because it has a lot of jazz inspired tunes.
Unova has a lot of calm tunes, undella town is a popular one, but gate too
I feel the same way about the Dreamyard theme.

this song got me through so many emotional depths and the amount of baggage it hold for me is insurmountable. even nearly 4 years later this song makes me melancholic. crazy how music and hack your brain like that
There is just something (maybe nostalgia) with how I prefer the DS osts over the newer ones. Maybe it's the little plingles (dont know the instruments these are composed with, midi?) but Black & White and the Sinnoh games are peak pokemon music for me. Maybe throw heartgold and soulsilver in there also.

Too bad. I was born in 2008 and I got to play Black and White and let me tell you that the music in this game makes it in my top list of Pokémon games.
I was born in 2004 but didn’t get the chance to play the B&W games fully until February 2023 when I completed them. I started last year in Oct 2022 and it was such a blast. I’m glad I didn’t rush them and took my time enjoying them.
I always wanted play them as a young boy when they first came out but now that I’ve played them as a young adult…
It’s felt like I didn’t miss a single thing and that I was apart of the journey all along.🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
@@Moderrnclassic same here! I started getting into pokemon somewhat late and although part of me feels a bit sad that I missed out on this as a kid, I'm still glad I was able to experience the games now. Black and White holds a special place in my heart ❤
I miss these days, if only for how much I loved Gen V at the time. I mean I probably prefer my life in the present but as much as I enjoy SV, BW/BW2 were 10/10 for me

(NUCLEUS is actually based on OMORI, and Kyle the Riolu is sort of meant to have the "Real World Kel" role in the story, and he does have a big brother named Aaron the Lucario, though his real name is actually just Kevin, Aaron is what others call him because he is said to have a similar personality to the character in a fictional comic book series under the same name, and is the leader of a team that I don't know what to name yet)

This is my best experience and memory of 5th gen. I remember only a few tracks not giving me the feels, and this isn't one of them. The music in these games really helped shape their environment tremendously.
