During WTF France, I was around 20. I'm 27 now and feel old sometimes. And, yes, I can confirm that it was yesterday for me and, likewise, I don't feel like I've really changed since that time...
as someone who turned 20 (fuck, half a year ago? that can't be right) - you'll be grand nothing changes and you're just as young (and as foolish and as wise) as you were the day before
Why do you think so? 20 is very very young... please always take decision based on your country avarage life expentancy and you'll see that the times you'll think "i'm too old to do that" will decrease drastically (I'm going for an extreme example here that might never apply to you, but it's just to get my point across: image to discover that your career choise doesn't really suit you and you need to go back to school for 5 years to get another degree and change career, but you are already 32. That will mean that you'll be 37 when you're done studing, but it will still leave you with another 30 years of work in a field you actually enjoy (at least in my country). If you thought that you were too old by that age you would have just accepted to be miserable for 35 more years.)
@@TheQuietEmber But when you're already an adult, it seems very complicated to go back to school, especially for 5 years. Mostly for financial reasons. When you're a teenager or in your early twenties, you may have your parents or a "scholarship" to fund your university studies for example. But when you're 35 ? If you didn't save a whole lot of money at that job that you don't like, aren't you kinda screwed ?
Well, technically, (raises glasses) there are relatively new definitions of age like how adolescence is probably between 10 and 24 and that you’re ’young-old’ at 60.
I'm 26 and turning 25 was the roughest about me feeling old. Now I feel fine. Getting older feels peaceful now. & I never went to parties until the early morning.
I'm turning 37 in 2025 Paul & I feel old. When I speak to young peeps (under 30) at work, I'm so baffled because they don't get my references to old TV shows because they were not born yet 🤣🤣🤣
Your coworkers don't understand references to TV shows because they're too young, I don't understand references to TV shows because I don't watch them.
The day I realized I was getting old, I was listening to a 2Pac song and a thought popped in my head coming out of nowhere : "You're older than him when he died". I was just 27. 😐 I'm 36 now.
@@paultaylorcomedythey are indeed! Big love to you and your family, happy new year! Btw I didn’t “grow up” with your shows because I’m 36, but I did use La Bise during my Uni ESL classes in 2016 lol Yeah that’s almost 9 years ago to the day.
2017 my girlfriend invited me to a surprise show: it was P. Taylor in a basement of a venue in Paris for his first bilingual stand up, inviting a french comedian from combini an english mate and Sugar Sammy. I said i lived in Norfolk who mesmerized him, he thought it was the sh..hole of england. It was just the one of East Anglia. Had the chance to talk to the "vedette". I think it was in 2017... yesterday basically.
Oh gosh... How did you know some of my underwear started getting holes (we're approximately the same age)... oO... ? How can the TH-cam algorithm be so spot on ??? What kind of sorcery is this ? Anyways, since they're still wearable, I keep wearing them for laundry day :p... 👌Approved.
In my case, I’m such an anti-Party Animal (exacerbated by Covid) that I’ve never felt the need to party. But I’m also an ambivert so I want to entertain large gatherings also.

Je suis plein d’empathie, Paul.
I can relate waaay too much. The life/work balance AND the underwear thing. And I'm 44. Nice sketch, as always, Paul !
I just went and bought 14 new pairs! Happy Christmas to me 😂
Just wait until you realise that in season 1 of 'The Simpsons' Homer was 34.
I’m at the age that Homer was when Bart born. 🥲
God. I'm only 2-3 years younger and i feel this too. Also i saw your show live and i loved it!
I'm turning 60 next year.
I don't want to hear about it.
Good luck! Let us know what it's like 😂
It really is all relative, right 😅?
I'm 37 too, I feel you...
I'm 35 Turning 36 Next Year. Lol! I Can Relate. 💯
If it's any consolation, time gets exponentially faster the older you get; it'll all be over in the blink of an eye. ;)
Yeah, that's the sad thing, but a reminder to stop wasting time!

😂😂😂😂 P. Taylor psichoanalizing his life with the public

The title of this video reminds me of Samantha in SATC going “Who’s 40?!”

Well, the good news is that you're STILL older than him when he died. And you'll always be !
subtitles are NOT in the parameters :(

Whoops! They are now. Sorry!

HAHA. Get some new ones (maybe you did for Christmas!)
Mate, you were born last century

I'm 228% as old as Paul (assuming he's only just 37) so may "mature" soon.
Never.
You feel old when you realise the French PRESIDENT is YOUNGER than you now... These guys used to be old and decrepit what happened??
Don't worry, the french president's WIFE is older than all of us, so it balances things out. Talk about old and decrepit !
