Anyone requesting further increase in interest rates does not understand how the real sector (manufacturing) works. Raising interest rate beyond current levels is economic suicide. We should focus on fiscal policies to curb inflation. We have stretched the monetary tools beyond its limit and it's now backfiring on the real sector!

Sir, if you consider Nigeria's economy at over USD500B GDP, then we would be the biggest economy in Africa after rebasing because no other African country has up to USD450B GDP... not even South Africa or Egypt... GDP in this instance is Nominal...

If Tinubu doesn't change patterns, the inflation can reach 40 percent in 2025
