Chris Mashele seems to have forgotten how rural the majority of country is. The North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and a fair part of the Free State and not forgetting parts of Gauteng and KZN. The ANC is getting 50% plus in this election. There will be a lot of humble pie to be had post 29th May in RSA.

Mike can you please interview OHM. I saw The 360 Experience interview Lauren and I decided within minutes to vote for them. Nobody is addressing the elephant in the room which is that the political system is the cause of everything that’s wrong in South Africa. Without system change there will be no change. We need to put democracy in the hands of South Africans and not in the hands of political parties and their donors. Are we so used to what politics has become that we can’t see that there is another way?

I find it interesting how Prince looks down at the MK party and I am also puzzled as to where he got these theories he behold that says MK party belongs to JZ and his family. He sounds exactly like Mbalula when he refers to MK as "Zuma Party". Isn't amazing how Prince Mashele does not even see uMkhonto Wesizwe Party worthy of a projection in terms of the results. He lumps MK with the rest of the other smallest party where they are to share the remaining 5 - 10% of the vote. Meaning that according to him the MK will be lucky even to get 5%. Well, lets wait and see, this will make the success of the MK to be even sweeter.
Prince gave a balance and fair anylisis today. Though I disagree that DA will get 19 or 20 %. ANC 38 EFF 21 or 19 % DA 13 or 11%. VFF+ is definitely going to grow taking away more white voters from DA.

If the ANC splits after the elections , only those remaining in the ANC will get positions.
So only those that don't make the list are eligible for forming the non-ANC part.

I have great respect for the views and opinions of Prince Mashele and that is why he appears on The State of the Nation. His issues regarding the book do not diminish his ability to analyse the South African political and economic situation. I challenge the logic that dictates that the issue around the book means that Prince Mashele is not a credible South African voice and should not be heard!
