It's crazy how you forget songs exist then you hear them years later and you can can sing the chorus word for word. Forgot all about this song and it came on in a grocery store I was in and immediately knew the chorus.
From the end credits of 1991 movie "It Takes Two". Right after the two main characters look at each other in disbelief. Soundtrack also had "It Takes Two" by Rob Base in the dance club scene.
@@aik1134 It's rare. I don't have the 12" EP that apparently this was taken from, but I do have the 7" 45RPM single "remix" (radio version) in my collection from when it came out.
Music just isnt as good as it was wen this golden "oldie" was made! Oh how i miss the good ole 80s! Seduction wernt as mega famous in the uk unfortunatly bcoz they were a great musical combo!
The best memories this decade you could see how truly happy we were together inside restaurants and bars and stores and salons you just felt the unity vibe and the fun gay vibe we all loved each other we were the happiest in this time period i remember every time period🧔sometimes we didn't have food at our apts so they would have buffets at the bars free when you purchased a beer it was usually the regular neighborhood patrons
1990 and I'm in middle school, where I would eventually develop a MASSIVE crush on a girl who would become a singer herself. And this version has the "think we'd better dance now" sample!
okay for all of you that are saying that seduction sampled the song from Rob Base and Dj Ez Rock I am about to school you.The beat in the song is hyped up but it's not their beat. The beat in Rob Base's song is a hyped up beat but it wasn't his.The title of Seduction's song is Two to Make It Right,The title of Rob Base's song is It Takes Two.All of that came from a James Brown produced song by his protege Lyn Collins and the song was called Think. It was made in the early 70's.In the song the hook goes "It takes two to make a thing go right,it takes two to make it outta sight"also the YEAH WOW part you hear in Rob Base's song, that's James Brown.
I remember listening to this song getting ready for school in elementary schoo, and later wondering why The Greatest Rap Song Ever Made had the same lyrics....lol
@@DADDYFO1973 Actually there's two actual versions, the original being the higher pitched one and then this lower pitched one. Radio stations did pitch songs up back in the day (compression like we know it today wasn't really a thing when this came out) but only 1.5-2%, not enough for the key differences for the two versions. Here's a link to the higher pitched version, same length, different key. th-cam.com/video/zr7EJa6qR_A/w-d-xo.html If it was pitched up it would be shorter. Higher pitched version is the "original 7-inch", this version is the "7-inch remix". I have a hunch the remix was created to mix into It Takes Two.
Love this song so much! Especially because it includes that Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock sample--a song that actually wasn't that much older than this one!?! Unlike most of the song sampling that happens these days... they borrow from much dee songs usually. That took balls! LOL! The Tom Jones sample is terrific too! 😉
Oh I finally found this song! For the longest time, I kept thinking this was a Paula Abdul song. How funny! Maybe the lead singer kinda sounds like her.

This is the best version of this song yes both are by seduction but the remastered one is the one where Michelle Visage is singing the lead and it kind of sucks you can totally tell the difference I wish I could remember the black girl's name that was in the group but she was singing lead on the very original and it sound amazing and I remember when they performed it on the Apollo and they rocked the house unfortunately when I try to stream it on Apple music and Napster they play the crappy one with Michelle oh well what can you do go to TH-cam
They still had galaga video game at hambuger 🌽 place on south west corner that was wear we ate the regular patrons well I'll keep it real the locals before 1993-1999 drug addiction pandemic they played Beaches sound track at every business and Basia we all knew each other on every block in WEHO we all each had a boyfriend we lived with we all lived between la brea and doheny

That would be Michelle Visage, she won a look alike contest back in the 80's and people would confuse her to Madge, so Madge's people sent her a cease and desist letter, cos people were getting confused.
Apparently Michelle looked, acted, and sang like Madonna in the day. I remember hearing Michelle talk about how Madonna's people sent Michelle's team a letter stating that she looks too much like Madonna, and that she should cut it out. LOL

I remember that era with the last year of the 80s with hair styles boxes and hair mullet and tails also boomboxes
I thought the same thing. It is actually incredible
Grocery stores can have some cool playlists
😅
This song is wash brain. After these years I ride my motorcycle I will rember the chorus and sing.
I work at a grocery store, and this song plays often. I have always wondered who does this song, and now I do.
