- In our second episode of our babymoon series here in Hawaii we have popped over to Kauai, the rain-forest island to show you everything what we saw, did and ate.

After checking into our resort for the next 3 days at Koloa Landing Resort, an apartment style resort with a massive pool we headed out for S'mores before going down to have dinner at the Holoholi grill to try Poke for the first time.
The next day we started at sunrise to head to the Little Fish Coffee cafe to grab a bagel for the road as we made our way towards Waimea national park to see the breathtaking views of the waterfall, Kalalau Valley and the Napali Coast.
That evening we relaxed by the pool, went down the water slides before waking up the next day and making our way to the northsore to have some fish tacos and shave ice.

I've lived here on Kauai all my life, its a little crazy right now with the virus situation, but still, no place I'd rather be then here on Kauai. Wailua Houselots 🤙🏼🌴🌊

What?! No chocolate tour?? GO BACK!! Lol. When I went to Kauai, 6 years ago, my husband (then boyfriend) took me to this fabulous chocolate tour, where we sampled some tropical fruits, saw cacao trees, the process of making chocolate AND sampled yummy chocolate. I guess that can be on the next Kauai video 😉. I think it was called Garden Island Chocolate for anyone interested.
I’d say the coffee tour is amazing too!
I LOVE Hawai’i! As a flight attendant the islands are my favorite layovers, I haven’t been to Kauai yet but am hoping to go! 🌸😍 safe travels!
What airline do you work for? AA has a daily sometimes two direct flights between PHX and LIH and I think two or maybe three daily flights between LAX and LIH, UAL has on daily between DEN and LIH, two or three between LAX and LIH, two daily between SFO and LIH, DAL has a daily between SEA and LIH, LAX and LIH, AK has multiple from the entire west coast to LIH, SWA has flights between Sacramento and Oakland to LIH.

That's my home island, I was born and raised there, I was raised in Hanamaulu and Wailua Homesteads.
oh wow what a beautiful place to grow up!
It is, it was so much better during the 70's and 80's when we had sugar cane fields all over the island and it wasn't as crowded back then, but the beaches are always great and so is the local food.🤙🏽 and my parents are still living on Kauai not far from where the very first Jurrasic Park movie was shot at and a few minutes from Opaeka'a falls and the old famous Coco Palms resort

Tommy S I was raised at the upper side then moved to the lower side around 81 then moved back to the upper side then to Wailua Homesteads then to Oahu in 91 and moved to WA in 2000.

Kauai is truly paradise. I have been twice and look forward to going again. Didn’t do a helicopter, but did a plane tour and then the sunset dinner cruise and both a life changing beautiful.

How I miss Kauai so much!! The island that has great memories from my early childhood ( Wilcox elementary, Kauai Intermediate, and Kapa’a high school ). Life was simple back then, going to the beach, cruzin Friday night with friends and of course eating at Zippy’s restaurant that is open 24 hours. Kauai will forever have a special place in my heart ♥️ hoping to visit family soon.
Hawaii is a great place to return with your baby, so relaxing there!
lived in Kauai for a summer in High School and have visited. The Nepali coast boat ride is insane. Some of the craziest views ever!

We went to Kauai on our honeymoon back in 1996 and also when the Waimea Canyon and the Napali Coast. It was foggy at the lookout at Napali, but a couple days later we went on a catamaran and it was gorgeously breath taking. Definitely a place to go back to again.

Gosh I miss Kauai! It stole my heart! Visited for the first time in 2018 and my now husband proposed to me at Waimea Canyon. Also the Napali coast is breathtaking and you're right that view of the coastline at the very top of Waimea canyon is stunning by helicopter.

having lived on Oahu for 3 years, the sunset on Waikiki is incredible.
Now you know why Kauai is my favorite island, Jess and Stephen. I enjoy the Big Island, too, for the rugged reasons you mentioned, but "The Garden Isle" is always the one I love visiting again and again. Not too commercial, as Maui and Oahu are. And you hit the nail on the head regarding the weather -- north and east side, lush but rainy and a bit cooler, and south and west, dry and hot. Something for everyone. Please do go back to Kauai and spend more time. Glad you loved it.

In 1982 I spent a full month touring the Islands by myself. Arrived and departed with CP Air (Canadian Pacific), Dublin via Amsterdam, Vancouver return. We love Kauai!! We got to see the Na’ Pali by helicopter and boat, and I highly recommend both. The views literally rendered me speechless. We’re hoping to backpack part of the trail there next time! The chickens are great, and there are some wild pigs too that are fun to see. Such a good place, thanks for bringing back all my great Kauai memories!!

Kauai is my dream Hawaiian island to visit! It’s as beautiful as I picture it and one day I’ll get there. Also, whether intentional or not, I loved the “spared no expense” line being said on the island where Jurassic Park was filmed 😂

I was there for 2 weeks last year in October and visited the areas you show in your video. I agree that Kauai holds on to the old vibes of the 1950's era. The most delicious foods I had were: Wihlua shave ice/the volcano flavor, chocolate custard pie with coconut pudding layer and fresh grilled jumbo garlic prawns from a food truck in Hannalei (the purple sweet potato fries were also yummy).

You guys definitely need to go back after the baby is born! My husband and were there last year for our honeymoon and there is a trail from Kalalau lookout that goes straight out almost to the coast and the views are breathtaking. We also did a boat trip around the Napali Coast - swam with sea turtles and dolphins and also an unforgettable doors-off helicopter tour of the entire island. Love watching this and having all the memories flood back. I miss the acai bowls from Little Fish Coffee so much!

Kauai is beautiful place. I've been there twice. I took a boat tour of the Napali coast and another tour of the Waimea Canyon. I've been to the luau at the Kilohana Plantation.
A new follower here! I'm from kauai and with this whole quarantine going on this has made me very emotional to see my home. So glad you both enjoyed it, next time get the boat ride to Na Pali , they say it's like the cathedral of the pacific. My other have is from Sydney Australia and I have a feeling (without watching your other vids) you both are too. Aloha & Cheers mates!
