WE GOT ANOTHER BANGER FOR YALL!
We got a rematch from last season in Sierra Canyon vs JSerra!
The last two years these two teams met up it was always a slugfest from both sides of the ball as each team tried to impose its will on the other but resulted in both wins heading to Sierra Canyon decisively.
But JSerra didn't forget those last two matchups and were looking for revenge and to show Sierra Canyon they're not a program to mess with!

Sierra Canyon still not ready for the big boys, but could be there soon.
Just tough to get talent comparable to the big teams up in the valley. Hoping they figure it out one year and create some parity in D1. Tired of mater Dei and bosco winning it every year.

@@xoskyz8386 They had a great season against Division II last year, but they barely beat JSerra 9-7 and got squashed by MD. That's what I mean by not ready for the "Big Boys" (Division I).
@@JE0mudumefru We all are (except MD and SJB lol). Up here in NorCal,we have given up on winning the Open for the foreseeable future. De La Salle is really the only team physical enough to put up a fight, but even that is only good for a half. Serra San Mateo looked ridiculous out there last year. Folsom is a strong public with a lot of resources but simply wouldn't have the depth to put up a fight. I also root for Cen10 against those two but even that will be a miracle at this point 😵
That only had one loss last season to mater dei in the playoffs

Never expected this😮35 to 7......SC will hopefully learn from this. They were unmotivated. This is a loss on the coaches as well as the players. You can't just showup. That's a Trinity league team JSerra. You better bring it.

Unmotivated and lackluster. The Hawaii trip had them not focused. It's as much a coaching issue as the players. Sometimes rest is needed more than practicing them hard.
majority senior and transfer kids gone from last season. happens to teams all over the valley even in the city sections.
