La Serna had an amazing season last year battling thru some tough matchups to become state champs and this year is no different as the Damien Spartans are looking to make a name for themselves and take down the champs to show the world what they're made of!

Played against La Serna in the 90s. It was a basketball school. The fact that it's a football school today is mind blowing. It would be like Kansas becoming a great football school. Can't wrap my head around it lol

Tbh now a days their football carries their other sports by a lot. They’ve been a football team since the 2000’s I live in Whittier so I get to see them play all the time.

PEOPLE FORGET THAT LA SERNA IS SOUTHERN SECTION DIVIDION 5 OR 6...DAMIEN IS DIVISION 2,BIG DIFFRENECE IN LEVEL OF COMPETITION. THAT D2 IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IS NOT THE SAME AS SOUTHERN SECTION...SOUTHERN SECTION D2 CHAMP LAST YEAR WAS MISSION VIEJO... JUST SAYING.
