Hi Christine, just want to say,how grateful I am to all you crafters out there who I subscribe to, for generously sharing your wonderful projects with us. Fab idea have quite a few puffs to use up . Love the short of the Xmas tree and train I could just see Travis chasing the train I know that is what my two fur babies would be up to when left alone 🐾🐾💕thanks once again for sharing and inspiring 👍
Thanks Gillian - I’m glad to be sharing these Christmas crafts and also adding more loveliness to the house decorations - the home made decorations always have lovely memories attached 🤗 cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Hi! I like to make ornaments as gifts for friends and family every year. Next year I plan on making something with yoyos and I ordered a set to templates. This is an excellent idea! Thank you for sharing!
Happy to share and lovely to hear that you make ornaments for family and friends - it’s beautiful to give handmade gifts! You'll be making lots of lovely yoyo ornaments and other creations I’m sure with your yoyo makers. I have a few more yoyo ideas to share so stay tuned 🤗 cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
This is an adorable idea. I just wanted to tell you I made a sweet little pouch for my friend for Christmas from the fabrics you sent me. She loved it. I just wanted to say thank you again. I love spreading the love
Saw another vid by Saacibo who put different sizes of yo-yos together to make even more Suffolk puff ornaments. Sorry to be a thorn in your ornament side, but I have new(ish) puff makers and I'm dying to use them - LOL! We get our tree tomorrow so I better hurry, huh?
Even a circle of cardboard would work. And you could stack several pieces if you wanted a thicker effect. Might head off to Spotlight to see how expensive new suffolk puff makers are. I like gadgets and tools.
Yes you are right - a circle of cardboard would work great, and you can certainly stack layers! 🤗 thanks so much for sharing and have fun creating 💙🧵🪡 cheers, Christine
That’s a great idea! They’d be lovely hanging from a larger Christmas tree. Is there space in the apertures of the puffs for a bead or similar? Or a larger bead or hanging decoration in the middle of the ring? I think I might have to give them a go myself!
I just found your channel. New subscriber! I have a yo-yo maker, but never used it. Now I’m going to try making your wreath. How did the yo-yo get the name Suffolk Puff? Love it! BTW, I’m in Springfield, MO USA.
Hello Becky and a big welcome to my virtual craft room. I’m so excited that this has inspired you to try your yo-yo maker - once you start you may not be able to stop making yo-yos! 😆 Have fun! Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Did you ever stuff the yoyo with cotton to make it a little puffy? I have extra shower curtain rings. I was thinking about using leftover batting to make them fatter before adding the decorative ribbon, then adding puffy yoyo 's on both sides.
