Maybe they're trying to clean up that mistake now, but they're not smart enough to do that.
well i mean allison tries using her stepping into the accelerator and risking her life for ben as a way to get away from what she did. but when you think about it, ben also stepped into the accelerator and risked his life to save her so since they both risked their lives for each other that would make them even. which surprise surprise means she has no excuse for cheating on him.
I'm sorry, but Addison was totally unfair here. It's not like Ben had a choice, he was saving her life! What did she want him to do, let her die? And she said the relationship with Tom started eight months ago, meaning that after the two years she thought he was dead, she waited like a month or two before finding someone else. That she can't understand how hurt and betrayed Ben must feel right now when he sacrificed his life and his chance to have a happy ending with her in order to keep her alive kinda makes her look like a b*tch. It's on par of Iris being mad at Barry for leaving to save the f*cking universe, and knowing that there wasn't another option. I hope she doesn't come back, I can't stand Addison now.
i agree and i disagree that addison and her boyfriend could had started as friends first and then dated and she thought that he was lost forever . she and the team looked for three years i will think he died or gone forever too . I'm still not buying that "saving Addison" story. So supposedly Ian found out about this Martinez guy and then he leaped back as a drag queen to warn Ben? Why would Ben jump in the accelerator at the word of some random drag queen? This writing cast, who is clearly making things up as they go along, has clearly not watched any of the original.
@@tomservo75 Ian came back with the necessary codes and coordinates that the Quantum Accelerator need for Ben to complete the mission…A random drag Queen wouldn’t know about a top secret project that allows ppl to travel thru time
Remember the scene in "Leaping Of The Shrew" when Al told Sam that he peaked and saw Sam(as Nikos) and Vanessa kissed. That was AFTER Al had left the imaging chamber. ;-)
To be fair, if he didn't "leave her in that life alone" to leap, she would be dead right now. I knew Ben would say he would have kept waiting because that's what I would have done in his place. Show me a dead body and then I'll give up. I wouldn't, however, leap to try and find him. Especially since even if you did you wouldn't always leap to the same place in time.
Sams wife had it much harder, she was alone far longer and not even allowed to see her husband knowing he was alive but out of reach. A shiny flashing bracelet to show her he was still alive. So compared with Addisons story she was alone barely 20 months, unless you count from their wedding night and the fact they can't touch.
I feel for Ben but he did jump into the machine to save Addison without asking his team for help. Only Sam Beckett's daughter. He never really considered how hard it would be for the rest of the team, especially Addison. Never liked them together in the first place but they could have grown on me. Sometimes opposites do attract.
Okay, I just finished watching this episode. In my perspective on this, Ben did mention something in a previous leap when he was talking to a different character in a different time period. He had mentioned that he lost his ex-fiancée and it wasn't really anybody's fault. I would have to agree with him on that. Considering either the quantum accelerator or something else caused him to leap and some how make a quantum disappearing act ( That wasn't Ben's doing ) that 3 year vanishing act practically created like a monkey wrench and threw it inside and majorly screwed up the machine. What machine is that? The romantic relationship between Ray's character Ben and Caitlin's character Addison. That wasn't Ben's fault nor was it Addison's fault. That was either the accelerator or some kind of a quantum accident of some kind. Because of that, that has created a negative, tension, awkward "I can't bare to do this anymore" type of relationship between the two. Ben was trying desperately hard and to do anything he can to save her, so he can continue on having that beautiful life with her,....he did managed to save her, but unfortunately the end result of things did not at all fall into their favor. Because of that unknown quantum force which separated both of them for 3 years,......now it will never work between the 2. Even if they were to become friends again,....even Ben can't do that. He's way too in love with Addison. There's no other alternative but to keep them away from each other and either Ian or Magic become the holographic guide for Ben.
@@McCaler Hi I am talking about the young woman whom Ben seems to be a mentor to near the end of this weeks episode. Whom is going to be a future love interest for Ben. She has a point. Ben never lost time but Addison did. He was presumed dead and three years have passed so he could not expect her to wait for him even before that when he went into the accelerator. Now he did the right thing by letting her go stating that she couldn't be his hologram anymore because it would have been weird. He cared about her happiness and he wanted her to be happy even if it's not with him. Now his approach has to change and focus on the leaps.
so ben is lost in time and struggling to get back home and you think that gives his wife the right to cheat? so if your partner cheated on you when the world thinks your dead but your partner at the time was aware you were alive, would you be happy?
