OhWow ‼️ your tutorial is fantastic! Thank you sooo much! I got your kit to make 2 of these and I’m new to this, so I want to share that I really struggled with the barrel knot. I made it fine, but I wasn’t comfortable with the amount of cord left. So I made the knot 3 times, each time making the short piece shorter. So it made the leather look worn. That’s okay… this one has now become mine 🤗! But I do wish the kit came with a cord a couple inches longer. Maybe I should note that my hand is thin & my wrist is ~6” around. Now to the crimp- I must be the largest weakling cause my pliers are not budging the slightest dent in these. Are your pliers special? Again, many thanks for everything here ❣️

Quick question: Can you use imitation leather in place of genuine leather?

Kellie's Bead Boutique thanks Kellie. Unfortunately I live on an island in Carriacou, Grenada and that's all I can get. And I have to go to Grenada to get that. LOL! No leather of any sort here on Carriacou island.
Really? That is odd! Is there a reason there is no leather? Can you not order some and have it shipped in?
Kellie's Bead Boutique there are some places in Grenada to get LIMITED jewelry making supplies. I order from Amazon, have it sent to friend state side then they mail to me. Then I pay added expense of customs. Or I can order from EBay and it is sent directly to me. Again customs. You have to realize I live on a tiny island. Population about 6,500. Area 13 sq miles. That's your geography lesson for the day. LOL! But I love it here. I came here 5-1/2 years ago on vacation. Loved it so much, I went back to the states, retired from my job......cleared up house, car, etc. and was back here within 30 days. So relaxing. Picked up my old hobby, macrame, and do okay selling to the locals.

I do have a question about the slider bead. What size is the silicon hole part of the bead? I've been trying to buy some for my 1.5mm leather cording too, and I just don't know what size to purchase. I don't want to buy too small or too big.

Elizabeth Estell thanks! No. There are two sizes. One has a smaller hole that can accommodate 2 pieces of 1mm-1.5mm cord. The other soc/4 can accommodate 2 pieces of 2mm cord. Hope this helps.
