Upon developing faster-than-light travel, we encountered two other sentient species nearby and were thrilled to discover we weren’t alone in the universe. Our advanced technology allowed us to create translators, which greatly improved relations with these neighbors. Our three planets became the cornerstone of what we later called "The United Races Federation."
