moving to playa at the end of july, fuego santo is 2 blocks aways from my condo... gonna give it a try.
PSA: I am 1/2 through the video and you are at the pizzeria and showed your bill. They have added a tip, which is illegal and a violation of Mexican law PROFECA. Anyone can request that this fee be removed at any restaurant in Mexico as it it up to the consumer to leave a tip and decide the amount. I they insist and argue, tell them you will contact Profeca and you will see how fast they comply.
Apart from that, as usual, amazing video. I used to live in PDC and I live vicariously through you both and Happy Birthday DTW ❤

Agree they shouldn't add tips to the check without your consent, but according to your own review, they deserve way more than the 15% you left. Great food + great ambiance + great service should equal 20% tip OR MORE. Please don't be c#eap
@aidaclavel5770 It's not about being cheap, it's about the law saying that it's the choice of the consumer to add whatever tip they want. I'm sure they would have left a tip since they enjoyed it, but the restaurant isn't supposed to add any tip at all, much less decide on the percentage!!!

@@TheDrunkenTourist Hi DT and DT’s wife went to Mariskinky we had tacos and Margaritas. Awesome! Then we went to Quinta De Piedra. for breakfast, the food was good and the service was great! Then last night we went to Amate 38 the food was just fair and the prices were over priced $ 28 Canadian for two Margaritas! Also we went for breakfast this morning to Lara and Luca just off of 10 Ave the food was the best we had so far in Playa!
I was enjoying your video until i got to the Romeos Pizzeria review. You spent the whole segment praising the place. You were "blown away" by the "phenomenal" food (your words), but you left only 15% tip?? Come on... then came the Vagabunda review... you seem to know enough Spanish to understand the sign... she even said it at the beginning of the segment: "299 for bottomless drinks WHEN YOU ORDER FOOD", so don't say it was false advertising. Then i stopped watching the video 🙄
