It seems most of the places you went to cater to tourists, exclusively. The music at all the restaurants is to attract the younger set , spring breakers. I’d steer clear of those places and go off the beaten path. It seems every place had a gimmick to impress, which is fine, but has become commonplace for touristy places.
Great point Alex. I would like to do a video featuring the off the beaten path locales. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for watching.
@@TheDrunkenTourist I’ve commented this once before. You should do a charter boat in the British Virgin Islands. Seems like a lot of great places to visits. Check out the wandering hillbilly for some ideas.
I will be in PDC next week,I have passed by Mariskinky dozens of times on my way to La Parata(used to be my favorite seafood restaurant). Will definitely stop in and give them a try.Mexico especially The Yucatan has gotten so expensive..My first trip to Acapulco over 40 years ago,a Taco was 5 cents,Corona 15 cents and a plate of oysters fresh out of the ocean was 35 cents...Things has gone crazy in the last 1.5 years...even more expensive than Europe.
The wife and I are staying at the Barcelo Grand for 2 weeks . April 5 -22 . I want to go to Playa do some day drinking . Hope to catch up to you guys ..
I always take business card of the cab I take to my destination. I call that cabbie to get ride back. I he not available they will send a different cab who will come for you and say that first guy who's name you have sent him. The original cabbie did also text my husband what he was doing. I always ask the bellhop at hotel for the car. In Cancun we ride the bus during the daytime was fine. Make your plans before hand!! Have fun everyone!! Stay safe!!
@@davidarmitage9041 It's illegal in the whole of Mexico,15% if added, tell your waiter to take it off because it's against the law...I ask first before i even sit down at any restaurant..and inform them it's against the law and walk out..The police are so corrupt in Mexico, and will take a bribe from these restaurants before giving them a fine..
Loved Mariskinky! glad that you enjoyed it too 😀
We are in Akumal. Maybe we will see you at Pescador again. Great meeting you both last year there.
Hey Josh, Great to meet you guys to. We are back to reality unfortunately. Have a blast in Akumal and say Hi to Carlos!
Gracias por visitar México.
Always excited to see a new DT video.
Me too. Always enjoy them!

I would agree 100%. Having just returned from Italy, Mexico in comparison is considerably more expensive.
Gonna be in Cancun April 5 . You guys gonna be around ?
Haven't made 2024 plans yet Kyle. Where are you going?

That's a great idea. I'll have to do that when venturing to the other side if the carretara!
Las propinas en México son voluntarias, no tienen por que dar propina si no quieren..
Pretty sure adding the tip is illegal per QRoo Paul…
It is illegal. Watch your bill.

Esa propina es inlegal, deverian denunciar, ya que no es justo...
