@@JustJenRx Just watch out with "Road of Resistance". Amuse, their parent company, is a copyright/blocking monster, especially with that song. It is ironic, because prior to quarantine, it was apparently (so I've heard) one of the safer songs to react to without getting strikes or blocks. You will want to pause SEVERAL times on that one to try and get around it.
Personally I would also like to suggest Karate, and reinforce Rondo of Nightmare with Mischiefs of God intro. As @Thenightowl11683 mentioned, it highlights the members of the band performing the instruments giving them each a spot light of praise. They really are all super talented!

You got this one in just under the wire for a Summer reaction. : ) I wasn't aware of him before this collaboration, but F.HERO is a well known rapper in Thailand. His rap was all in Thai. The lyrics in the rap section even mention Som Tam (spicy Thai papaya salad). It's used as a metaphor for life. The ingredients are spicy and sweet, but you have to crush everything in a mortar to bring out the flavor. This one was filmed at Yokohama Arena on the second of two nights, so everyone knew to bring a towel to wave, or to get one from the merch stand before the show started. BABYMETAL have been awesome since 2010. Now they are awesome adults, and killing it even harder.
There is nothing like them on the face of the planet. I have seen them in concert and the video doesn't capture everything. They do have musicians with them, the Kami Band; Megitsune is a good song to follow up on, a good song of female empowerment.

Babymetal was born as a sub-unit of the school-themed idol group called Sakura Gakuin, this band is the product of an interesting fusion between pop and metal, something that is known as Kawaii-metal. The band had its beginnings in 2010 with the three original members Su-metal (lead vocals), Moa-metal (scream, dance) and Yui-metal (scream, dance, and ex-member until 2018) when they were just kids ( 11-13 years), in October of this year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of this incredible band, I'm not deceiving you at all if I tell you that this band is going to surprise you with each song; since they cover many sub genres making each song very different and fun. Hi again Jen. I was messaging Sonny when he was getting into them. Although, as you know I'm going to Nightwish twice ( not boasting, honest) the last gig I went to was Babymetal in London in February - had such a good time. You've got a lot of happiness coming your way. Trouble with reacting to Babymetal is that annoying copyright problem so I would suggest a number of pauses! Loads of songs to recommend - ...."Headbanger" is a big favourite ( always live - just like NW is best) my personal favourites are "Rondo of Nightmare" including the Mischief of Gods intro by the band. Ask Sonny about that one, especially about the manual dexterity of the bass player! "Akatsuki" is another, "No Rain no Rainbow" is very emotive. "Karate" is a beast of a song. "Syncopation" , "BxMxC" - "The One" which is a testament of appreciation for all their fans. And so many more - but I'm writing far too much!😴😅. Great reaction as always Jen - hi to the Family!

I wouldn't call it funny. The girls stay in character on stage so much (especially Su with being so stern looking and giving death stares), that seeing them just enjoying themselves and rocking out with the Metal God is a mixture of hardcore, adorable, and fun! I actually love it. Another good one if you haven't seen it, check out them covering Judas Priest with Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing drums and then presenting Su with a birthday cake. You really see the girls out of character and being themselves.

Yep, they are awesome! Who else could make a song about partying in the summer and eating spicy papaya salad so great? Only Babymetal could! This is one of their newer songs, released in 2019 on their album Metal Galaxy. That album features many songs with influences from all over the world, so you get many different styles mixed with their heavier sound. I hope you'll delve into some of their older stuff as well as their newer stuff. Almost every song from across their 3 albums has a different feel to them, and their live performances are the best way to experience them. There was probably about 15-20,000 fans at this concert, which is average for them these days. They've played festivals with more than 60,000 people, and headlined two shows at the Tokyo Dome where 55,000 fans showed up each night. Just a small bit of info on the band: They started in 2010 as part of a J-Pop group called Sakura Gakuin that was a kind of school for young girls that prepares them for careers in the entertainment industry. The lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) was 12 when she joined Sakura Gakuin, but had already been a child model and a member of another J-Pop group called Karen Girl's. Sakura Gakuin had different sub-groups (clubs) that girls would join or be put into, and Babymetal was the metal club. It was formed around Su because of her incredible singing ability and stage presence. The other two original members were Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) and Yui Mizuno (Moametal). They first performed only in Sakura Gakuin concerts with the other clubs, and normally once the girls reach the age of 15 they leave the group and go onto whatever careers they like. Su graduated in 2012, as she is 18 months older than the other two, but stayed on with the group because Babymetal has already amassed a large fan-base. It soon became it's own separate band, and performed independently from Sakura Gakuin. By 2013 they were headlining shows in Japan, and in 2014 began to branch out into other countries. They released a meme song called Gimme Chocolate that got a lot of play outside of Japan, which allowed them to get some European shows, and in 2014 they performed at a major metal festival in the UK, the Sonisphere Festival. It was that show that really showed the western world what a force they were live. In the years that have followed they've been on several world tours, released three albums, won countless awards, and opened for some of the biggest bands in the world. In 2018, Yuimetal left the band for undisclosed health reasons, and the Babymetal is now just Su-metal and Moametal, but have added several backup performers that will switch out in the third spot from show to show or song to song. This video had two of those backup performers in it, since it was a compilation of two shows. In any case, I hope you'll do more from them in the future.

I really like to see how much you enjoyed it. They are even better live, as you can see in the footage behind the studio track. Su's vocals and the band especially are way better than on the studio tracks. The show this is from was "BABYMETAL Awakens" from Yokohama Arena with 17k fans in the audience (I guess, since it's the capacity of the arena and the show was sold out). Their biggest solo concert to date was in 2016 when they sold out Tokyo Dome two nights in a row with 55k people each night. Actually Babymetal are officially only two girls since 2018, Suzuka Nakamoto, Su-metal, the lead singer (born Dec 1997) and Moa Kikuchi, Moametal, backing vocals and dance (born Jul 1999), she's the one on the left side of the screen at the beginning. The third in this video is Kano Fujihira (born Aug 2004), she's one of the three rotating support dancers without mics, called "Avengers", they implemented in 2019. The third official member from 2010 to 2018 was Yui Mizuno, Yuimetal, who had the same role as Moa. She left because of undisclosed health reasons at the end of 2018 after a year long hiatus. You'll see her in most live videos available on TH-cam, because they are mostly from 2013 and 2014. You probably won't be able to tell who is who with Moa and Yui at the beginning because they were picked because of their "twin like appearance" when they started. Best indicator for me was Moa's pretty prominent dimples when she smiles, which she does a lot.

Lol Sonny v.C. is doin like I did months ago. I was throwing many people into the foxhole, but i think, no one regretted that! They are just awesome in every aspect. Hell of a band and three unbelieveably frontgirls. Wait til you see the oroginal three with Yui. She is even more cute! (though compared to Su and Moa that's hard to tell haha). Yui left the group in 2018 due to health issues. The third girl here is Kano Fujihara, one of the "Avengers" that came after Yui left.

Subscribed to you too because, judging by that reaction, you're going to be falling just as fast into the Babymetal universe and it's gonna be interesting watching! I'm a 59 year old Boomer whose first Metal gig was Sabbath in 1976 and whose last one was Babymetal in Feb this year and, having seen most acts and genres in the intervening 44 years, have to say Babymetal are the only band that can make me headbang, laugh and smile maniacally and sometimes cry - often all in one song! Ask Sonny if they ever move him to tears, though he swears it's just the onion-cutting ninjas that do that to him! Maybe check out his fave Babymetal song 'BxMxC' if you want to see what they are like now ( th-cam.com/video/BjNHAZAAQug/w-d-xo.html ) or try one of their massively epic live show performances such as Headbanger Legend 97 ( th-cam.com/video/YjjWZpf_jSs/w-d-xo.html ) or IDZ, their MetalAF song about stopping bullying forever, which they perform here at their first Metal fest appearance outside Japan, aged 15 and 16, in front of 65,000 Metalheads waiting to see Iron Maiden headline ( th-cam.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/w-d-xo.html ). I recommend this as I could see you were happy that they were all women and, to me, they showed real strength and balls of steel (or Metal at least) in walking out on that stage and live up to how Rob Zombie described them when a fan told him he was selling out for liking them - "They roll harder than you!". Sonny did a whole Babymetal concert when he reached 20K and so we're all (well, me, certainly) hoping you'll be thinking of doing the same when you reach 10K...which, if the Fox God is pleased with your appreciation of his girls, will be granted by next weekend. This one is a new song. You should try watching Gimme Chocolate, Catch Me if You Can or Karate next. These ones are a better introduction to what Babymetal is, then you can go up to the newer albums.

BABYMETAL have performed with, toured, or opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers (there is a youtube video of them performing Gimme Chocolate with RHCP, as well as with Korn, and DragonForce), Metallica, Korn, Dragonforce, Guns N' Roses, Lady Gaga, and Rob Halford of Judas Priest (there's a great youtube video of their performance with Rob at a metal award show), to name a few of many. BABYMETAL has been around for TEN years and have performed at large metal events/concerts in front of 65,000+ skeptical metalheads in Europe (Glastonbury, Download, Sonisphere, etc), US, and Asia. Plus the 20+ awards they have been given. They have 50+ songs and each one is different from the other, so I hope you give the other songs a try. Hi again Jen. I was messaging Sonny when he was getting into them. Although, as you know I'm going to Nightwish twice ( not boasting, honest) the last gig I went to was Babymetal in London in February - had such a good time. You've got a lot of happiness coming your way. Trouble with reacting to Babymetal is that annoying copyright problem so I would suggest a number of pauses! Loads of songs to recommend - ...."Headbanger" is a big favourite ( always live - just like NW is best) my personal favourites are "Rondo of Nightmare" including the Mischief of Gods intro by the band. Ask Sonny about that one, especially about the manual dexterity of the bass player! "Akatsuki" is another, "No Rain no Rainbow" is very emotive. "Karate" is a beast of a song. "Syncopation" , "BxMxC" - "The One" which is a testament of appreciation for all their fans. And so many more - but I'm writing far too much!😴😅. Great reaction as always Jen - hi to the Family!

I wouldn't call it funny. The girls stay in character on stage so much (especially Su with being so stern looking and giving death stares), that seeing them just enjoying themselves and rocking out with the Metal God is a mixture of hardcore, adorable, and fun! I actually love it. Another good one if you haven't seen it, check out them covering Judas Priest with Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing drums and then presenting Su with a birthday cake. You really see the girls out of character and being themselves.

Yep, they are awesome! Who else could make a song about partying in the summer and eating spicy papaya salad so great? Only Babymetal could! This is one of their newer songs, released in 2019 on their album Metal Galaxy. That album features many songs with influences from all over the world, so you get many different styles mixed with their heavier sound. I hope you'll delve into some of their older stuff as well as their newer stuff. Almost every song from across their 3 albums has a different feel to them, and their live performances are the best way to experience them.
There was probably about 15-20,000 fans at this concert, which is average for them these days. They've played festivals with more than 60,000 people, and headlined two shows at the Tokyo Dome where 55,000 fans showed up each night.
Just a small bit of info on the band:
They started in 2010 as part of a J-Pop group called Sakura Gakuin that was a kind of school for young girls that prepares them for careers in the entertainment industry. The lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) was 12 when she joined Sakura Gakuin, but had already been a child model and a member of another J-Pop group called Karen Girl's. Sakura Gakuin had different sub-groups (clubs) that girls would join or be put into, and Babymetal was the metal club. It was formed around Su because of her incredible singing ability and stage presence. The other two original members were Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) and Yui Mizuno (Moametal). They first performed only in Sakura Gakuin concerts with the other clubs, and normally once the girls reach the age of 15 they leave the group and go onto whatever careers they like. Su graduated in 2012, as she is 18 months older than the other two, but stayed on with the group because Babymetal has already amassed a large fan-base. It soon became it's own separate band, and performed independently from Sakura Gakuin.
By 2013 they were headlining shows in Japan, and in 2014 began to branch out into other countries. They released a meme song called Gimme Chocolate that got a lot of play outside of Japan, which allowed them to get some European shows, and in 2014 they performed at a major metal festival in the UK, the Sonisphere Festival. It was that show that really showed the western world what a force they were live. In the years that have followed they've been on several world tours, released three albums, won countless awards, and opened for some of the biggest bands in the world.
In 2018, Yuimetal left the band for undisclosed health reasons, and the Babymetal is now just Su-metal and Moametal, but have added several backup performers that will switch out in the third spot from show to show or song to song. This video had two of those backup performers in it, since it was a compilation of two shows.
In any case, I hope you'll do more from them in the future.

I really like to see how much you enjoyed it. They are even better live, as you can see in the footage behind the studio track. Su's vocals and the band especially are way better than on the studio tracks. The show this is from was "BABYMETAL Awakens" from Yokohama Arena with 17k fans in the audience (I guess, since it's the capacity of the arena and the show was sold out). Their biggest solo concert to date was in 2016 when they sold out Tokyo Dome two nights in a row with 55k people each night.
Actually Babymetal are officially only two girls since 2018, Suzuka Nakamoto, Su-metal, the lead singer (born Dec 1997) and Moa Kikuchi, Moametal, backing vocals and dance (born Jul 1999), she's the one on the left side of the screen at the beginning. The third in this video is Kano Fujihira (born Aug 2004), she's one of the three rotating support dancers without mics, called "Avengers", they implemented in 2019. The third official member from 2010 to 2018 was Yui Mizuno, Yuimetal, who had the same role as Moa. She left because of undisclosed health reasons at the end of 2018 after a year long hiatus. You'll see her in most live videos available on TH-cam, because they are mostly from 2013 and 2014. You probably won't be able to tell who is who with Moa and Yui at the beginning because they were picked because of their "twin like appearance" when they started. Best indicator for me was Moa's pretty prominent dimples when she smiles, which she does a lot.

Lol Sonny v.C. is doin like I did months ago. I was throwing many people into the foxhole, but i think, no one regretted that! They are just awesome in every aspect. Hell of a band and three unbelieveably frontgirls. Wait til you see the oroginal three with Yui. She is even more cute! (though compared to Su and Moa that's hard to tell haha). Yui left the group in 2018 due to health issues. The third girl here is Kano Fujihara, one of the "Avengers" that came after Yui left.

I've been enjoying your hubby's journey down the Fox Hole since he fell in on March 16th, when he reacted to Babymetal's 'Gimme Chocolate' (I go back and watch it now and then when I need cheering up cos his reaction was priceless!) Subscribed to you too because, judging by that reaction, you're going to be falling just as fast into the Babymetal universe and it's gonna be interesting watching! I'm a 59 year old Boomer whose first Metal gig was Sabbath in 1976 and whose last one was Babymetal in Feb this year and, having seen most acts and genres in the intervening 44 years, have to say Babymetal are the only band that can make me headbang, laugh and smile maniacally and sometimes cry - often all in one song! Ask Sonny if they ever move him to tears, though he swears it's just the onion-cutting ninjas that do that to him! Maybe check out his fave Babymetal song 'BxMxC' if you want to see what they are like now ( th-cam.com/video/BjNHAZAAQug/w-d-xo.html ) or try one of their massively epic live show performances such as Headbanger Legend 97 ( th-cam.com/video/YjjWZpf_jSs/w-d-xo.html ) or IDZ, their MetalAF song about stopping bullying forever, which they perform here at their first Metal fest appearance outside Japan, aged 15 and 16, in front of 65,000 Metalheads waiting to see Iron Maiden headline ( th-cam.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/w-d-xo.html ). I recommend this as I could see you were happy that they were all women and, to me, they showed real strength and balls of steel (or Metal at least) in walking out on that stage and live up to how Rob Zombie described them when a fan told him he was selling out for liking them - "They roll harder than you!". Sonny did a whole Babymetal concert when he reached 20K and so we're all (well, me, certainly) hoping you'll be thinking of doing the same when you reach 10K...which, if the Fox God is pleased with your appreciation of his girls, will be granted by next weekend. Sonny will explain the Fox God.
