Great reaction. Flugelhorn Old Man has already explained that F Hero flew in to Japan specially for the two shows in Yokohama at the start of BABYMETAL's 2019 tour. They have more collaborations on the third album with different artists. So far F Hero is the only one of them to have played the song live with them. Su-metal has said they were so lucky to have had their first choice for collaborating artist on each of the songs agree to do it.
I would add that there is one more artist from a collaboration that performed live with them, even if from a different album: Herman Li and Sam Totman from Dragonforce did perform once "Road of Resistance" live together with BabyMetal :D

It is fun. though. 😄 In June 2019, F. Hero came all the way to Japan from Thai for the world premiere of this song and he had been very nervous to perform at a huge arena in foreign country. This is an MV of live footage coupled with studio sound. At the actual venue, Su-Metal shouted "Come on F. Hero!" to summon him. At the end of this song she screamed "Thank you F. Hero!" then the three girls bowed deeply towards him to show their respect. That scene makes me happy.
Su actually calls for F Hero to come out and welcomes him and Thanks him at end of song but they missed that out on MV . There are photos of BabyMetal teaching F Heros Daughter how to do Kitsune ( fox sign ) backstage at the show it's so cute ❤🤘🦊🤘

⚡ 💕 / 🌶 🌞 Matsuri da! (It's a festival!) I wasn't aware of him before this song, but I've been seeing F.HERO in a lot of collaborations since. During the rap break, they incorporated some traditional Thai instruments. This was a suggestion from the folks who were working with BABYMETAL's producer Koba on F.HERO's recording in Thailand.
Babymetal has appeared with Rob Halford from Judas Priest and was the support act for RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS. They have also done a collaboration with BRING ME THE Horizon.
Nice reaction, thanks! The visuals are from the concert called "BABYMETAL Awakens. The Sun also rises" (Day 2) held at the Yokohama Arena in late June 2019. There were two back to back concerts in Yokohama (which is considered their second home). The fact is that the song was "leaked" the previous week and some supposed "fans" criticized F. Hero (real name Nattawut Srimhok) on his social media.To the point he considered not to perform here on the song's live debut. But he finally did and was more than welcomed by the fans in Yokohama. I've read you are familiar with the "Avenger" system. So, this was also Kano's debut as an Avenger, being just 14 at the time. And she did an excellent job. They also premiered live two more songs (on day 1): "Shanti Shanti Shanti" and "Arkadia"... I just love world live premieres :) Until next time!

Officially Babymetal is for the moment Su and Moa. Yui officially left in 2018. The third dance is one of the avenger dancers that they used during the Metal galaxy tour. The three took turns performing with Su and Moa. They are Kano. Who is with @1five now, a JPOP group. Riho who released a solo JPOP album and Momoko who did the last 25 plus shows of the tour. Personally I was hoping she would become an official member. Momoko seemed so happy to be with them. They just danced no singing with mics. Although they did sing along with the songs. You can catch them singing from time to time in the videos. All three can sing. You have returned to the foxhole at a good time as Babymetal has released snippets of music from what should be songs from a new album. And everyone rejoiced!!!!
Oh yes, I'm also familiar with avenger dancers. And agree, Momoko is also my favourite. And I was so surprised to see her on a Korean idol competition show GIRLS PLANET 999. Which would then still make all the official members SG alumni. Or Su and Moa are going to continue giving their friends an experience of a life time by getting them to tour with them. Riho wasn't part of SG but she did know Su from their days in ASH together. Seems it's a good idea to be friends with Su and Moa. You never know where you could end up.
#Babymetal is sure to be a real spetacle. All songs are great. The choreography animates the audience. Image technology is always present. I want to attend a Babymetal performance one day. For me, it's equivalent to a Kiss performance in the 70's. More #Babymetal !
I wonder how many BM songs you've seen? At this point with Metal Galaxy, BM is not just a band or an Idol group anymore, they're like a concept of combine EVERYTHING with Metal, cross genres and cultures xD and little thing you should know, that concert look fun but stand on that stage was not easy - after his first 2 minutes on stage with BM, F. Hero went to WC and threw up, BM fans scared him just before his debut, and there were too many people, lighting everywhere, he couldn't see anything, it was too much for him... Like he said "it was the scariest 2 minutes in my life" xD This footage here is the 2nd night after and he felt much better this time I believe
Since it was the debut stage of this song, in a foreign country, with foreign fans on a huge stadium, of course it was nerve wracking and so overwhelming. But he held proffesionally and did a great job. Hope he felt more confident after the first show 😅 As to how many songs I know, I know all the most popular ones like Gimme Chocolate, Karate, Megitsune and BxMxC, etc. An the one's I so far reacted to. My dad introduced me to their music, and his knowledge is way broader. I still consider myself a baby The One even though I knew those girls from the time they were guests on REACT channel

F.HERO was very nervous about this collaboration and this performance. There's an English translated interview of him explaining all of this. But basically Japanese fans of BABYMETAL were not happy that a Thai rapper was collaborating with BABYMETAL. There were calls for protests etc. He almost called it off until his manager told him that the BABYMETAL manager (don't recall his name) said he doesn't make decisions lightly. That they chose you because they wanted *you*. They flew him in from Thailand for this performance. He was still nervous and almost didn't go. But he did, this performance was incredible, and now the BABYMETAL community loves him.
@@DonutClick For sure. And dedication. Because damn that takes perseverance and skill to go through the routines they have to go through to do their shows. I heard somewhere that they don't like to have breaks between their shows on tour. Because resting too long between shows can mess with their stamina and energy. So basically they want a show every night when touring

When I see Pa Pa Ya I always think of BM's excellent homage to Bollywood, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, it appears to have been filmed at the same venue. And although the "official" vid is good, there are some "compilation" vids that focus more on Moa's and Momoko's dancing and that allows their personalities to really shine though.
I really didn't like the official vid of Shanti Shanti Shanti, too much of the kaleidoscope effect, and not enough of the girls dancing... As you said, some of the compilations actually did a better job of showing off the dance.🤘🦊🤘

Even though I've never been there myself, the shows of Babymetal are probably among the greatest you can see in the rock or metal genre. Being there is surely an experience you won't forget in a hurry. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻 And while you're on the subject of Japanese pop culture, I'd recommend a band called 'Band-Maid'. 5 young ladies who are for many the best the rock genre has seen and heard in decades. I've been calling this iteration of Babymetal "Babymetal AY" (After Yui). It seems to me that when Yui left the band, she took the "kawaii" with her. This isn't to say that they are bad now - quite the contrary - but it just isn't the same without Yuimetal. Anyway, I know I'd be pretty PO'ed if I paid top dollar for front row seats to be looking almost straight up at the edge of the stage and maybe occasionally seeing the tops of their heads!
That's partially true, but to be expected: As they age, obviously their Kawaii factor would be less predominant :D And I would say that it didn't completely disappear! If we take Moa's solo performance of Onedari Daisakusen at Budokan 2021 for example, I would say that it's a really Kawaii performance! Surely there is less kawaii, but there is still enough :D
i dont think BM will ever have a anime opening since they are too successful and therefore too expensive and too "high profile" in the sense of having a anime opening would not boost their record sales and maybe even hinder the animes own success by overshadowing. anime openings are always beneficial to both the anime and the music artist, but in this case, it wouldn't do much good.
yeah, there's not much of a point in doing an anime opening since they already have a crazy worldwide success. if only it's their personal interest in doing so
@@DonutClick well at least right now, their personal interests are not of any concern since they are still idols and as such, do only have those, the Management decided on. i'm curious anyway how long this is going to go with them, Suzuka is already 24, it is high time to either retire or renegotiate a different contract, but staying a idol after hitting 25 is... well i guess it's possible but... anyway point is, if they negotiate smart, they could gain freedoms unheard of in the japanese industry, maybe even rivaling that of nano_ripe. the japanese band known for refusing contracts for years until they got one they could live with... Suzuka and Moa could, if they do it smart, basically dictate their contract terms.

This was beyond epic awesomeness when I saw it live at Hammersmith Odeon in Feb 2019. The crowd went crazy! It was a tough concert to draw!

Best review after reaction of Baby Metal I have ever seen.... it was a bang-er.
F.HERO was very nervous about this collaboration and this performance. There's an English translated interview of him explaining all of this.
But basically Japanese fans of BABYMETAL were not happy that a Thai rapper was collaborating with BABYMETAL. There were calls for protests etc.
He almost called it off until his manager told him that the BABYMETAL manager (don't recall his name) said he doesn't make decisions lightly. That they chose you because they wanted *you*.
They flew him in from Thailand for this performance. He was still nervous and almost didn't go. But he did, this performance was incredible, and now the BABYMETAL community loves him.

@@DonutClick For sure. And dedication. Because damn that takes perseverance and skill to go through the routines they have to go through to do their shows.
I heard somewhere that they don't like to have breaks between their shows on tour. Because resting too long between shows can mess with their stamina and energy. So basically they want a show every night when touring
They clearly made for the stage , cause they starting performing on stage in a very young age, were just witnessing diamonds that been polished for years

When I see Pa Pa Ya I always think of BM's excellent homage to Bollywood, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, it appears to have been filmed at the same venue. And although the "official" vid is good, there are some "compilation" vids that focus more on Moa's and Momoko's dancing and that allows their personalities to really shine though.
I really didn't like the official vid of Shanti Shanti Shanti, too much of the kaleidoscope effect, and not enough of the girls dancing... As you said, some of the compilations actually did a better job of showing off the dance.🤘🦊🤘
Babymetal is incredible! Please more reacts with them! I also suggest Lovebites, Nemophila, Bandmaid, Wagakki. All of them, represented by women, excellent musicians!

Even though I've never been there myself, the shows of Babymetal are probably among the greatest you can see in the rock or metal genre. Being there is surely an experience you won't forget in a hurry. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
And while you're on the subject of Japanese pop culture, I'd recommend a band called 'Band-Maid'. 5 young ladies who are for many the best the rock genre has seen and heard in decades. If you are interested, I recommend their first ever MV for their song 'Thrill' or the live performance of 'Freedom'. 😎🕊

I've been calling this iteration of Babymetal "Babymetal AY" (After Yui). It seems to me that when Yui left the band, she took the "kawaii" with her. This isn't to say that they are bad now - quite the contrary - but it just isn't the same without Yuimetal.
Anyway, I know I'd be pretty PO'ed if I paid top dollar for front row seats to be looking almost straight up at the edge of the stage and maybe occasionally seeing the tops of their heads!
That's partially true, but to be expected: As they age, obviously their Kawaii factor would be less predominant :D
And I would say that it didn't completely disappear! If we take Moa's solo performance of Onedari Daisakusen at Budokan 2021 for example, I would say that it's a really Kawaii performance! Surely there is less kawaii, but there is still enough :D

i dont think BM will ever have a anime opening since they are too successful and therefore too expensive and too "high profile" in the sense of having a anime opening would not boost their record sales and maybe even hinder the animes own success by overshadowing. anime openings are always beneficial to both the anime and the music artist, but in this case, it wouldn't do much good.
yeah, there's not much of a point in doing an anime opening since they already have a crazy worldwide success. if only it's their personal interest in doing so

@@DonutClick well at least right now, their personal interests are not of any concern since they are still idols and as such, do only have those, the Management decided on. i'm curious anyway how long this is going to go with them, Suzuka is already 24, it is high time to either retire or renegotiate a different contract, but staying a idol after hitting 25 is... well i guess it's possible but... anyway point is, if they negotiate smart, they could gain freedoms unheard of in the japanese industry, maybe even rivaling that of nano_ripe. the japanese band known for refusing contracts for years until they got one they could live with... Suzuka and Moa could, if they do it smart, basically dictate their contract terms.
