Lithium headways blew up

Monday was a pretty wild ride for me , products and physical valuables are never worth your own safety or life. My lithium pack in my suburban blew up and caught on fire. I acted quick and didn’t think much of the toxic fumes being put out by the pack, was emitted to BSA around 6/7 pm from coughing and shortness of breath. When I was told that I was going to be put into medical coma with no time line of when I might wake back up or very possibly if I will wake up. It was a terrifying experience not knowing if you’d ever wake up. After waking up Wednesday morning around 12/2 after being airlifted to Lubbock,I was brought out of coma and made a good recovery! I don’t fault the headways since only one exploded I think it was a bad cell in the bank, 16 others followed thermal venting though. Long story short be carful with used cells! I checked every cell and load tested and also checked voltage each week of each bank with good results.

I'm glad your doing better. Least your system is replaceable. Looks like most of your SUV didn't burn so hopefully it still runs.

Most definitely, still runs good right now can’t drive it since no batteries but I’ll get back on track soon enough

@@SolidAud that's good to hear it still runs. Just get one of those AGM batteries at Auto Zone for up front and later get an lithium or AGM battery for the back. Might need a fire extinguisher 🧯as well💯

I would for sure get LTO lithium much safer and more power.
