Thank you! Yeah, the weather was certainly much more pleasant than last time, though maybe a little too warm for a fast time ! It is nice round there, will have to come back and try and get a quicker time, when its equally as nice and my legs are not so tired !
Didn’t realise there was anyone filming, otherwise I’d have tried a bit harder 😉😂 You were just about to embark on your 3rd lap just as I was finishing my 1st.. Well done! A great course, my favourite of the 3 Lincoln courses.
😂 Ah cool, glad you were able to spot yourself ! And thank you, it is a nice course, bit tight in places when trying to pass through the trees, though not as quick as the others but more scenic.
Scenic course!, way too narrow for fast buggy runners with that many runners on course with loops! My HR was +20bpm just watching him nearly taking out a few....nice V40 win Matt 👍🦾🏃👊
Cheers Stuart! Yeah, it is very scenic, especially when it isn't in the middle of a deluge like it was last time ! Those narrow sections do make it dicey on laps 2 and 3 for the buggy pushers !
Cheers, glad you're enjoying them! My all time parkrun PB is 19:28 and that was around Clumber. During lockdown I did manage to run an 18:58 it on the road and a couple more around that time, but picked up a minor calf injury, but it was significant enough to slow me down at the time and I've not been able to get back to that since sadly! I'm 5'10.5 and currently around 78kg
Cheers I did have a few in the high 19:30's this year at Yarborough, Doddington and Long Eaton and a 19:41 at Clumber, but it has been a little while and hasn't been super consistent.
Thought i saw you there. Last time it was chucking it down . Nice to see a video of Lincoln it doesn't get much TH-cam coverage. Well done.
Thank you!

Great run Matt. Awful lot of traffic. Top ten finish 👍🏃♂️
Cheers Jeff, yeah it was quite busy, but it wasn't too difficult to negotiate the traffic!
good run Matt. A lot of traffic to negotiate. A nice park run indeed.
Hi Keith, yeah it is a nice park, bit of variety in the course, little narrow in places, but still fun!

Hi, another good video. What's been your best Parkrun 5k time to date and what's your current height and weight, just curious. Thanks.
Cheers, glad you're enjoying them!

@@MattClarry Hopefully you'll get back to the original PB soon. Thanks for the fast reply and all the best.
Cheers

@@MattClarry I'm sure you get back there with smart training and dedication.
Have you tried the Hull Parkrun it's the 4th fastest course in the UK?
I haven't made it there yet, but I'm hoping to get there before long, hopefully I'll be able to put one a respectable time when I do!
@@MattClarry Yeah, especially with it been one of the fastest courses, I'm sure you will.
